Default Stuck on loading pre-reqs screen

I have tried the solutions I found when searching for this issue including toggeling the precache game logic and disabling Akamai net session. still stuck on this screen. running windows 10. Trying to make this computer work because my newer one crapped out completely. (water cooling leaked....) pretty sure I was able to run DDO after I updated to windows 10 before but that was a while ago so not completely sure. Any help would be appreciated

I'm also having this same issue and tried several different things, including the steps listed. I also tried refreshing my DNS on the computer and router, I did a fresh install, I ran it as an administrator, I disabled firewall and antivirus, I rebooted, After all this, still getting stuck at loading pre-reqs. Can someone please advise.

usually getting stuck their is a sign the game cant connect to the internet. In fact any time it ever does it I automatically look to see if my modems acting up for whatever magical reason the cable company has. If your net is working just fine elsewhere then maybe the ports being blocked by the router? Could screw with that stuff.

Or ive also seen where it was just the ip adress itself for whatever reason and going through the steps to force a new ip address fixed it, unless it was one of those static ips then ud need to have it changed. Other things were windows firewall could be messing with you unless it was fully turned off instead of partially. I believe the full turn off features lied in the advanced options in the settings tab. Or even reset it to defaults and then run the game and it should ask you to let it through.

Lots of weird **** it could be.
