loot redesign: sharn, fens, what next?

If you guys ever decide that you got some resources available for redesigning some loot... consider looking at Secrets of the Artificers wilderness / quest loot. It's only 11 items, but ML18 is where named loot is fairly scarce.

That there is a lack of loot in that range is true. But I would rather see older more outdated loot updated first. Also some of the older named quest rewards updated and put iun a chest would be great (waterworks, catacombs, three barrel...)

Three-barrel had a loot revamp when Epic Three Barrel Cove came out, and the heroic items, mostly ML 4, are pretty darn good at that level.

Personally, I think the most-needed revamp is of Dragontouched Armor.

The Dragontouched armor would be wonderful. I used mine until I just couldn't anymore.

I wouldnt mind upgraded level 18 gear. At the moment I use level 8 Slave Lords through to 28 and only use a crafted ML 18 belt with Con and Deathblock, and sometimes will go PDK gloves/Iron Mitts if playing a melee.

I'd like to see Sands of Menechtaruns' weapons reworked. Lotsa nice stuff in there that doesn't really make much sense anymore with S/S/S mechanics being underwhelming.

Also, a rework of Sentinels of Stormreach loot is definitely needed. I toss out the whole of that garbage every time I get something >_>

Personally, I like the idea to revamp old packs, so I'm in favor of loot redesign both Restless Isles and Ruins of Threnal.

Dragontouched... yeah, it would be needed, but I always hated those quests with a passion, so no.

Nobody ever mentions Cult of the Six/Sorrowdusk. Am I the only one that still runs that? It's never had a loot update.

Update: I finally took the time to run the three flagging quests at a slow pace, sniffing flowers instead of running around following people. I have to say they are actually great quests once you learn things like the maze in ETK and the puzzle (the first one, not the lights out style) in Monastery.

I would like to see a loot update like a legendary SoS that allows you to add a sentient jewel to the armour, or something like that.
