Recommended Halfling Assassin for 32 pt no tomes

Got my little guy to really want to play (he's 6) - He wanted a halfling after seeing how small they are. So is there a current halfling 2-weapon fighting assassin that's recommended? Looking to not use tomes (til I get a better paying job :P)
