Bard CC+Clear

Heya guys,

I just TR my swashbuckler Bard, and wanna test another build. But this life I need something different, need clear! Single target hit well, but soooooo slowly when needed to clear mobs fast. Soo, I'm looking for a THF build with cleave( if possible) and trapper.

I'm think about this one:

15 bard/2 fighter/2 rogue:

Stats 36pt

Questions:

1 - Does it works for Heroic quest?
2 - I saw tons of builds using INT base, build I'll need Insightful Reflexes. But is it possible to do with mob clear? And I rlly wanna play Drow now.
3 - No idea what enhancements should I take. Probably Warchanter.

PS:
1 - I mostly play alone, soo need a self suficient/trapper build.

1. That should work in heroics fine, yes. There's a couple changes I'd suggest for epic play though, I'll write below
2. Int is nice because you can use Harper for an Int-based Divine Might. Boosts your damage, and also your DC's for what it's worth. If you can afford the AP, it usually does more damage. THF works fine with Int as long as you have enough base Str to get all the THF feats (17 eventually)
3. For THF, Warchanter is your best bet. Swash is great, but not really for THF. Some stuff into Spellsinger could be beneficial too, like Sustaining Song

For epics, I'd up the fighter to 6, take T5 Kensei, and the 3rd core from Kensei. This is because most physical attackers get a +1 to their crit multiplier and range somewhere, but Warchanter only gives a +1 on a 19-20. With Kensei, you can get +1 range and a +1 multiplier regardless of what the roll was, so long as it's a crit

Warchanter DPS on its own is bad. WC+Swashbuckler SWF DPS is a good combo, particularly if you're going CHA-based PDK w/short swords for WC freeze attacks; see the Icebreaker. If you really want THF, Kensei / Warchanter combo is also viable; see my Axesinger thread.

T4 - Liquid Courage, Strike at the Heart, STR and Opportunity Attack. (can't get weapon group spec. since this build has only 6 fighter lvls).
T5 - A Good Death: Melee, Weapon Master, One with the Blade, Keen Edge

Warchanter ( 25 points)
- Skaldic: Constitution, Weapon Training, Song of Heroism, Fighting Spirit
T1 - Enchant Weapon, Rough and Ready III
