Default any news on the Druid pass?

It is possibe that I imagined this, but I thought I saw something mentioned about a druid pass in the not too distant future. Obviously the FvS pass is next up, and is for sometime in the new year, but was wondeing if there are actual plans for a druid pass and when this might be. Caster druid remains my fave class to play, and was wondering when I need to start thinking about TRing my caster toon back ot one (currently grinding ePL's).

I would also like to know that, but I believe it is low priority. Druid is probably the most "bugged| class, because it misses 3rd tree and melee druid is very weak...

Artificer is about he same as druid, only reason its better off is that warforged and rogues have good synergy wit them.

That said couldn't they do something about the lag of druid transformation from human to beast? Its insane.

Well, we already know the FvS update won't be in U34, which means it won't be until early next year at best. So the next class to be buffed - whatever it is - won't be until U36 or U37 at least. So I wouldn't exactly hold my breath waiting for druids to be buffed...

What might be nice is if one update early next year after U34 ...

U35 ... Update of Trees ... FVS, Artificer, and Druid get their 3rd trees (and revamp of current trees).

U36 ... Update of Casters ... Cleric, Wizards, and Sorcs get their enhancement update. And additonal general caster update and Wis based Enhancement tree (like Harper) is added.

I doubt they update 3 classes for u35.

My guess is that u35 will be FVS alone; u34 some minor monk changes.

Then within 2 years we will have the expansion, which will likely include new race and possibly new class, further delaying other class passes.

Right now I would say there is a good chance that some classes don't see a pass before maintenance mode.

I guess I don't mind waiting per se (who am I kidding, I wants my shiny now!!!) it would be good to know the general outline of what is being proposed, just so we can plan really. Shame tho, I thought something like reaper would really a great mode for caster druid.

Any new news about druid pass?

Arty got his own pass, Clerics got their own domains, but what about druids?

Devs stated the druid pass would be after Ravenloft came out, IIRC, so hopefully early next year (fingers crossed). I don't recall seeing any details about what it would entail, though, so dial up the rampant speculation now to be sure you're extra-disappointed when it happens!

I know they said about druid pass is next in the line, but no news in last several months. I saw somewhere (and couldn't find where now) update to wolf pet enhancements and it seemed decent, one step forward with druid class. What I want to see is balanced animal tree and finally 3rd tree, probably one that boosts summons and heals....

Well we've got our answers ( sort of )

No fighting feats will work in animal form except for Natural Fighting. ( which will get undetermined buffs )

weapon damage will directly translate to animal damage. Including critical multiplier and range.

Bear and wolf will get attack animation upgrades. In cast of normal wolf a degrade.

The new tree will be a bear tree where the bear will get barbarian style rages combined with a lesser stalwart defender like stance.
( wolves will be able to take some of the lower enhancements )

Nature Warrior becomes the wolf tree.
( bear can take some of the enhancements including the temp sp on critical hit one they couldn't before )

So basically a complete crushing of a lot of multi-class builds which involved combining natural fighting with other fighting feats. ( and not just the two weapons exploiters )

If you get the boosts to natural fighting then there is no need for having other fighting feats - but outside of removing an exploit, what is hurt with multi-class builds?

Wolves may end up stronger in the end depending on how the changes work out.

But that doesn't change that most wolf builds are designed around using other fighting style feats ( both in feats chosen and classes chosen ) and will need to redesigned.

Hardly surprising: the wolf-form bugs have been steadily piling up since U19 to the point where the devs pretty much had to smash everything and start from scratch, IMO. I hope druid toons get free HoWs, but even then you may be better off TRing instead.
