Ring niggle

Probably overlooking the obvious, but help welcome...

When swapping in a ring via a hotkey, it naturally swaps out a ring. Is there a way of controlling or influencing which ring?

It has often niggled me before, but got around to asking because I currently on a ranger / rogue life and have a great devotion + heal lore ring that I don't want to wear all the time, but do want to swap in for boosting self heals when in a pinch. And it is currently swapping out my con stat ring, which is annoying to say the least. I want it to swap out the other, less crucial, ring.

Of course I can get around by clicking the ticks in inventory, but that is kinda slow in an emergency. Maybe I just have to reconfigure gear. Or am I missing something?

Facing the screen the left ring is the one that will not hot swap. So the ring that you want to swap put that in the right position then add that and the ring you want to swap onto a hot bar and then you can flip back and forth!

Yep, it's always the ring on the right (above "ammunition") that swaps. No way to force the other, have to open Inventory and do it manually.
