cleaning up old connection

I haven't been able to log onto my main server for 2 days now. I can log onto other servers just fine. Game crashed going into catacombs and every since then when I try to log onto the server I get "cleaning up old connection" text on my load screen before character selection. scanning the forums I see this was a problem encountered in the past and I've tried a bunch of stuff to fix it and nothing has worked. Filed tickets that have gone unanswered.

I'm a returning player quickly regretting my decision to return.

I presume you tried editing 'UserPreferences.ini' as per: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6049465? Another option would be to 'power cycle' (reboot) your Router (not reset) if editing the UserPreferences.ini had no effect. Because the server is functional but needs to clear your Character login debris.

If that doesn't work the next scheduled server update or maintenance reboot should fix it for you i'd say.

yep. I've tried all of that. Guess I'll have to wait it out since the service help hasn't responded to my tickets.
