You spoke about Menace Of The Underdark a lot during the video. With Ravenloft being the most expensive Expansion Pack released for DDO, would yo suggest a new player to get Ravenloft over Menace?

Depends on what your goals are. Are you just playing DDO socially, or are you looking to really maximize your character's power? Looking to ETR a lot or stay at cap?

MoTU has IMO the best content we've ever had in DDO in terms of quality. And it offers more quantity in terms of content too. But, at this point pretty much all the loot in MoTU is outdated just because of its age. And the raid isn't run anymore because of it's age/loot being outdated. Ravenloft has all new loot and new raids.

So all in all if you want to ETR a lot or play casually, go with MoTU.

If you don't want to go past level 20 and just want to HTR, go with Ravenloft as MoTU doesn't have heroic versions of the quests. If you want to maximize your character power and play the current endgame, staying at level cap and raiding, also go with Ravenloft.

If price is a concern, MoTU is usually on sale somewhat often whereas Ravenloft I doubt will go on sale for quite a while as it is brand new.
