Hot fix is clearly on their end. Trouble with freezing was party wide as those with voices would comment on it at the same time i suffered it. At game launcher start the hot fix that needs to be installed on our end will be applied. So how about we go see how well they worked on it.

Want to say fantastic job on Ravenloft. The content is awesome and breathtaking. While i was in one party that zerged the quest I dropped quickly as I am determined to enjoy in detail all the hard creative work you put into it.

So thank you for the hard work.

Could be as simple an exploit as heroic toons getting ml29 sentient weapons instead of ml10, ml10 = 10 sxp, ml29=290 sxp, setient weapon being bta could create loads of heroic toons, run through first quest grab weapon, crush fro sxp, delete toon rinse repeat? it's likely a little clumsy but that what it looks like to me. and no I'm not doing it i'm far too lazy for the hassle but others will.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but the weapons you initially get from the guy in Barovia are bound to character, not account, so what you're describing wouldn't work.

Sorry folks, but I am not understanding the length of these downtimes. Are you making the fixes directly on the servers? A patch or hotfix to me describes an item(s) that are fixed on dev servers, then tested on test servers, and then it should only take a few minutes to apply the patch/fix to the live servers. Not understanding why it takes you all 4 hours to apply a fix/patch, unless you are developing and testing on the live servers, which would be crazy. Please get your act together on these deployments and downtimes, as you keep losing customers, making it more difficult for us loyal fans to find decent groups if any groups. Can't even get full parties for Raids anymore. Why don't you guys fix those things that are causing you to lose customers.

I am pretty sure this is a MS Windows 10 issue and not a DDO issue. My husband and I have been having this problem for a while. He fixed his by changing the options in DDO to use Direct X 11.

In my case it was a character who had seen the bugged list from yesterday not a new character. The fix was only for new characters???

Not a brand new character. I had previously talked to the NPC, but held off on selecting a reward when I saw the bug in hopes that it would be fixed in a patch.

It was a problem with Win 10 update 1079 if I recall.
Go directly to https://filehippo.com/download_directx/ download the file directly, and run from there. I had the same error, this fixed it. Should work for you too, good luck. )

I realy hope that the fix can include a way to re-flag players for the weapon smith at the entrance to Barovia. Even if this gives some players 2 weapons, so what. I sent a ticket in about my level 10 and 12 getting level 29 weapons and was told There is no help for it.. Why they couldnt trade me the heroic version for the epic one I don't know.

I am having the same issue and I am livid over the fact that they say very little to nothing over this problem. I just logged in and tried to get the min level 10 weapon but no chance it still only offers me a Min lev 29 weapon. I have not taken anything from that NPC.

I'm guessing if the list populated but you didn't select anything it wouldn't give a new list. Makes sense, but doesn't help if that's where you are.

yes - i'm having the same problem with Flartybill on Cannith. previously talked with Tobar but did NOT pick an item hoping this would be resolved.

If every character that already talked to the NPC is SOL for the ML10 weapons, please switch the binding status of these weapons to BtA. There is absolutely 0 reason to make a free weapon that every character gets for simply talking to a NPC BtC. This will at least give us the option of running an alt through the mists to get the weapon we missed out on. I don't want to have to go to 20 and TR just to get my sword.
