Unable Enter the Land of BArovia ~ Raveloft broken?

Heyas I can get thru the pre-area with the wagon, but can't enter Barovia. Completely frozen. Also as I was killing the wolf packs the pre-area was very laggy.

It would be great if you can look into why it freezes and can't get into Barovia. Also the lag.

Sorry for the bad news, but not playable.

EDIT ~ my computer and equipment is far above the min reqs and I'm level 18. in Heroic. Perhaps I'll try some epic toons.

I started witha freshly booted up machine this morning. After having to kill the game in Task Manager, since it wasn't responding, I rebooted again. Next I used the purple potion and it took me here instead of the House J (which is fine).

Now I'm finally in the Land of Barovia, but very laggy. I guess I will go do something else for while.

BTW this is my 1st exp. with Ravenloft, as I don't Lama. I love you DDO, but heads up this won't make a good 1st impressing on new players or folks returning to the game. I will get thru, but better to put the best foot forward and not underwhelm people.

Might want to look at the mist if you recycled from the purple.

EDIT ~ Again much love and respect, and my aim here is to bring attention and hopefully you can clock some $ out of the new.

Some folks are definitely having issues. Have a look at this thread, maybe the "frills" setting will help, but if nothing else, devs are involved over there so you can see what develops.

I will try that and TYVM for the link! I went for walk and on my way back I failed my DC when I passed the pizza place. I need to Shrine after the pizza and then will try and see if it works.
