WTB or burrow specific color of specific styles

I recently discovered that Masei Mkembe seems to give only “vibrant” robes when you trade in Antique Bronze Tokens. I have yet to see a single earth tone robe after more than a hundred trades (I was fishing for robes with the backpack/scroll case frill). You could test whether the same is true for his armor trade in options. If they’re based on a more limited, colorful subset of the appearance table, you might have a better chance of finding what you’re looking for there.

I have traded thousands upon thousands of tokens to that guy for robes, using the cheapest trade in value (50 per). The robes are very colorful... however the top accessory layer on these particular robes (the shoulder piece be it a collar/backpack, the harness, or the shawl) vary rarely has any attractive coloring. I've had entire inventory pages of robes with the upper accessory layer being variations of white, gray, beige, maybe yellow green, and pale aqua. I don't know why. Now I have never traded for the Exceptional stuff so I have no idea if the coloring for those pulls from a better list.

Are you particularly looking for an earth tone robe? I might have one.

I mostly find earth tones while questing, so it was refreshing to discover an option to get lots of blues, reds, and other strong colors instead. But you're right, he doesn't do much for the frills.

These aren't to my taste but they're fairly unique anyone interested in these armors? The one on the left looks like a cheesy 80's villain say something from Flash Gordon or He-man, Master of the Universe... really bad costuming. The one on the right is a burnt orange variety of Bloodplate.

LOL! As a fan of all that which is cheesy 80s, I'd be remiss in not getting a copy of that left one.

Have submitted a ticket hoping for a Mirror replacement since that didn't mirror out even close to the original.

That is so weird I equipped it again on Aelonwy and it looks like the picture I posted then had hubby equip it thinking it was a male/female character issue and this is what his assassin looked like in it:



As you can see it remains the same chain style with gray mage collar.

Have you tried toggling/re-toggling the show cosmetic on the paperdoll?

I'm not sure what could be happening... I haven't had a problem with a Mirrored item since they first debuted.

Yeah, toggled on/off and switched back n forth from my usual cosmo set. No love. Looks like your model is also Human, so race/gender shouldn't be an issue with it. Is just one of those things where Mirrors go wonky.

Well in that case I'd contact customer service. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Do you want me to forward the item to Cordovan? And draw his attention to it or is it not that important to you? Do you want the base item back so you can file a ticket/bug report? Obviously there isn't much reason for me to keep it, if no one can use it for Mirror purposes.

I submitted a ticket, and referenced this thread in the report for the screenshots. They mailed me a new Mirror, so I'm good on that aspect.
Yeah, I just checked the CS ticket and they do want a bug report on it as well. Might help to have it on my character when they take a look at it.

I have the first one in violet(crafting blank with slot), the second I've never come across, third one in violet with more accessories on the arms and legs(also crafting blank with slot).

I've come across the last one... and I'd almost love it... except I just can't get over the crotchless/exposed underwear of that style. I admit its hardly visible on your svirfneblin but on a violet skinned drow its shudder-worthy. The pasty-cups over the bosoms aren't so bad on the smaller bosom-ed races but on a half orc are a little disturbing. Someone I see occasionally in Eveningstar dresses his halforc girl in the most exposing stuff... either to be funny or to gross people out or maybe both. Most recently she was dressed in Leaves of the Forest.

I like the second one, I'm guessing its a Breastplate? I have a Breastplate I've already Mirrored with the same basic under-armor but the accessory layer looks like the upper layer of this armor:

Here's something I'm looking for--this exact style, but the studded under-part is the purple one instead of this orange/tan one. Basically, I'd like MATCHING versions of this armor. There are 3 possible under-colors, one is a dark brown, and you can get a dark brown top-piece as well. One is purple, and one is tan/orange.



Here's what the "purple under" looks like on a different set of armor. You can also get this second purple under as an option, and the third one is what the dark brown under looks like: I like the style that's on top of that third one, but although it's very similar it's not QUITE the same as the upper I'd REALLY like to have in matching colors, which has that big round metal bit in the pectoral. You can also get the style I really like in white, which I'd like to have over the purple under.



I know for a fact that you CAN get all of those armor pieces together, it's just getting the colors to match that's difficult.

Here also is something I'd love to have, only with a green or reasonably matching tan or orange upper. I like the boots style on this upper, so if it's matched with different unders that might be something I'd like as well:



Also, I found this, which seems to be exceptionally rare. I really like the light lavender of the upper piece, and I would ADORE this on top of a better-matching under. Pretty much any color of this upper on an appropriate under is appealing to me:
