Reapeating crossbow , whats the best ?

I would like some advice on the best reapeatng crossbow I could have/ make.

What is the best LGS crossbow I could craft ? Lots of details please. I mean specific augments I need to make and at what tier.

What about thunderforged or toee crafting ?

At present I have a selection I use and recently cannith crafted a mettaline+aligned ( with +5 ins deadly ) which works pretty well tbh.

I'm not very good at swapping weapons for all the different dr's so aan all round weapon would be nice.

Honestly, my favorite LGS crossbow is by far a legendary vacuum II crossbow: the spammed bolts rapidly stack up vulnerability, and make things die extremely quickly.

Unfortunately, the 'evil' damage that lgs deals is actually 'negative energy', meaning it's useless against a lot of mobs.

As for other types of LGS, the other major competitors are Triple Positive (For durability), Lightning II (For extra bonus damage, but this falls pretty quickly in Reaper), and Mineral II (For a DR breaker that does decent damage).

cannith crafting wise, just put on whatever damage you can onto it: I've found a ml 21 blinding/bludgeoning crossbow is absolutely crazy levels 20-24.

As for Thunderforged, the only reason you'd use it over crafted is the big base damage dice: none of the effects synergise well with repeating crossbows. First degree burns is on an internal cooldown, which gimps your ability to stack vulnerability.

TOEE is horrific base and bonus damage, and is both too high level, and too weak by itself to ever consider. If they had a TOEE runearm, however, then I'd retract my statement.

(Oh, and insightful deadly on a repeating crossbow is a terrible idea, because it doesn't stack with Know The Angles, a tree which I assume you are taking with a repeating crossbow build. Use Insightful Seeker instead.)

I use a Legendary Ooze crossbow just because the oozes do a great job at keeping mobs at a distance. If you want specifics on which augments to use, go to the wiki like everyone else, look for the "set" bonus you want, and figure it back from there the way everyone else does.

Yea... but wait... they have exactly same ML26, weapon dice (5W) and base damage (1d10) as LGS! So, you think LGS have too bad base damage and too high ML? 8)

Furthermore, ToEE weapon set give +20 to RP, and can have +4 mythic bonus to RP too...

And... sorry, but for extra slot to CC weapon you currently have only 2 viable option - ins deadly and vampirism, because all other, include ins seeker or ins tendon slice you can put in different gear. Vampirism have icd hardly compatible with repeater, so... here no other really option exclude ins deadly. 8)

My DPS is pretty good already. I also have items that give me deadly.
Toee and thunderforged are had to get due to lack of groups to get the mats.

I nearly have enough large mats to make a lgs so I will choose that.
I'm 1 of the few who often just sits at cap enjoying the game and using all the pl's I've done to improve my character. I'm well behind the curve regards slavers gear ect but slowly collecting mats to make my 1st LOL.
I've never made a gs item and only 1 lgs.
