OK let's see....

All the features mentioned - check. Doom. Gloom.
Strahd: check. Vampire. Cape.
Threatening - check. At least, with that soundtrack, something deep within me was very threatened anyway.
Audio-Video alignment - Neutral evil I think, but check. That triple cut with the beat 2/3rd of the way through was actually really nice
Funny - check. Hi welcome indeed.
Lynnabell did it - check!


Honestly, it could very well be a winner.

For what it's worth, much though I really do love Lynnabel's effort (and will almost certainly watch again. And probably link to a few people), and I really appreciated Aelonwy's (EDIT: Amylee's) marvellous score-reversal tactic and constantly moving camera, Rys' trailer has the edge thus far.

One thing I liked in particular was that Rys' trailer had a much stronger sense of impending action - I think it was the simple addition of the scene where the gargoyles are running toward the camera. Lifted the whole thing.

Uh dunkle I only made a comment, I think you mean amylee. I also lean toward favoring Rys' trailer, amylee's is very nice too but the atmosphere is off for me. And Lynnabel's... no just no... Plane of Dread does not have inherent laughter. Maniacal maybe, farcical and giddy definitely not.

I have to say this is very good work, awesome footage really. Very nice work Alistina.

This will be hard to decide. Rhys is more dramatic, very good cutting.
Alistina has more nicer sequences.
I like Amylee opening scenes very much. first part of the music is a bit odd but the second part very fitting. So here it is the top notch score.
Lynnabel put me to the torture. So if it was her intention ... go away. Far far away and take away her electronics.

We still got a few days. But I'd like to say thank you already to all entries, even Lynnabels.

Took some time today to finally get some game capturing software to see if I could make my idea come to life. Well, my rig and the software apparently had a dissagreement with each other. It worked beautifully at first, but then it started to eat up memory and cause everything to suffer greatly. I've since uninstalled it and things are back to normal now. Alas, this means I'll not be making a fan-made trailer. Instead I'll just post a very rough form of the idea I had/what I was planning on doing. If someone else gets inspired by that or wants to take it and make it happen, great. If not, no biggie.

I could only afford to use whatever freebie software was already on my computer or available in a short time.

So, I am a total Amateur and I'm sure those of you who are professional will get a good giggle at my effort.
But hey, I had a lot of fun doing this.
I could only afford to use whatever freebie software was already on my computer or available in a short time.

The trailer looks professional, imo. You did a good job polishing the footage and making transitions from one image to the next. I am still working on editing my video.

I was learning how to do it all on the fly as I went over the weekend, so it was made in a short time, wish I started a week or two ago.
After I finished, there were a few short clips where I know I used the wrong angle clip I had, but it was fun.
I also wanted to show some of the goodies that came with the bundles, like the outfits and the kitty, and the scarecrow hireling. (even tho he died and that is the soul stone you see me kneeling beside,
but you can see his scarecrow 'silhouette' in the mist.
