This is my first go at a Visanti Knife fighter. Please let me know of ways to improve it. It's not the type of build I'm used to.

I don't think the crit multiplier from One with Blades ( vishanti ) and Knife specialization ( assassin ) stack

Personally I'd try for

Visanti : 41 AP points for the capstone but no tier 5.
Assassin: 34+
Race: whatever is left

Without looking any further, 13/6/1 would probably be a better split.
7th fighter level gives you nothing, 13th rogue level gives sneak attack and a rogue special feat

I think 18 rogue/1 fighter/1 barb would be stronger. You'd really like to take lethality for the stacking +1 crit multiplier. You can then decide if you'd like tier 5 from Assassins tree for assassinate and other goodies, or go with tier 5 Vistani.

I just did a run of 18 rogue/ 2fighter to grab some xtra feats. I took tier 5 assassin abilities, and the capstone in Vistani. It was very powerful...

With just 13 lvls of rogue, your assassinate ability will not be very reliable.

You don't particularly need the extra feat from fighter, so splashing something else or doing rog 19 / barb 1 makes more sense to me. You could also do rog 18 / barb 2, which gets you Sprint Boost and extra action boost from tier-2 FB if you can spare the APs.

If you're not sticking with pure rogue for Assassin capstone, then I would definitely plan on having VKF capstone instead for the extra atk speed and Melee Power. From my testing, Knife Specialization is better than One with Blades for sustained DPS; but Vendetta is better for burst DPS for the extra crit multiplier. Both will stack with Lethality, providing a strong incentive to stick with rog 18+ builds.

You could drop the halfling healing in epics and put those points towards 41 pts in vistani for the capstone. You'll have rejuve coccoon in epics. Enjoy the build

I had a level 8 second life halfling that was following Hassan Assasin's build. I LR'd him into a pure rogue version of the above builds that took assassinate capstone. I have a level 5 first life that already has a couple fighter levels on and I bought the +3 tomb for so I'll try him on the 13/6/1 rogue/fighter/barbarian. That barbarian level sure is nice for leveling and feel of the build, man does he motor. I'll probably stick with the halflling enhancements for leveling and switch to what elvesunited suggested in epics. So far both builds do nice dps.

Fireball and ice storm for Inferno quest.
Heal,raise dead, restoration, summon aggro pets
Just get someone to teleport you to the portable hole, you turn into MASSIVE VERSATILITY MACHINE

Hi Assassination, it works better—1) it affects all mobs in a 180 degree arc in front of character; 2) it has a short 6-second cooldown; 3) it seems to add an attack to the chain which is probably a bug

Shiv seems to require a smaller bluff score (shiv might even be a no-fail attack to AFAIK). So with improved feint you really want bluff/insightful bluff gear to boost it really high. This is a hugely useful skill anyway on an assassin.

I tried replacing Weapon Focus: Pierce with Improved Feint on my pure rogue and it works really nice.
