I took a poll of this on our evil sister site a while ago and Ghallanda was #3 most populated. (year ago?)

IMO you can stumble into some pretty wide error...

I was hoping to get a large enough response to keep the margin of error low to keep the analysis simple. I thought that would be possible since the poll is open within 30 days of Ravenloft launching, as well as during Black Friday/Cyber Monday when I suspect forum use will surge. I've also done some cross-posting between the varies polls I'm running to act as a force multiplier, since keeping a poll on page 1 means more eyeballs on it. Given the response rate so far, I'll be lucky if I can keep the margin of error to 5%.

Here and elsewhere like /r/ddo there are constant questions of which server has more/fewer people. This poll is trying to answer that question. It may not be perfect, but right now it's the most current data available.

Not in any reliable way no. It will only say how many have voted for each server. If you think that is a valid number for the relative population on each server you are wrong.
