Now with large screen I can fight much better

Again I’m amazed at the detail of the quests. Just the architecture of placing everything
And smelling the story of the quest instead of just killing stuff and getting loot to kill more stuff
But we had a return on the storyline

It’s much harder on 3 than on 6
With 6 it’s glide path with 3 it’s tactics

I had not done all the fey quests in order before

And it was surprisingly easy

But I was all keeping me and the rogue alive
I’ve had to go back to putting fist of light on the active hot bar

But was using it last nite in a pinch to cover us

Anyways, it restored my senses

But that’s probably with the heavens aligned

And he’s kicking ass
I guess any bard with 4K hp running r8 kicks ass
So we’re rolling, some more join for the baba fight
We roll thru that

So we get to the sun sword
I’m basically piking
And I’m looking our group
We had two more bards join
And I’m looking their HP

We killed strand before the mobs even appeared...

Have 6mil divine and martial. Gonna divine for x3 at +10hamp

Wish for racial. Also nice. I can wish for dwarf and get x2 +1 con
And do future lives as whatever and racial. I would have lost the tr on the current build as max aasimar and monk. Wish they could class it, need completionist back.
Completionist. Need alchemist. Will tr now that I have gear set. Put on 6 reaper points.
That will bring back +2 stats.
And for racial, need 15, since they added 2. Woulda need 9 and that’s maybe 6 months with a few 30s.
Need to look some new gear set. Been cleaning inventory. May add a mule for all my old gear. Most is bound to account. Another nice. Have dumped most of it in shared for transfer. Oh I have a low level monk.
As an aside here. Alts are not dead. Not if you play this game 15 years. Some have multiple completionist s. They just cycle them on raids. I’m blown away by the number of alts.
I have 17. Need to up to 19. Been dumping old gear. Throwing everything away. Found a second gem in a pair of 20 wraps. Have a couple extra jems, and vish has one. The second I found is 100k. That low level loot isn’t worth the second click. Just clearing inventory on mules. I had some kinda system. Mostly removing everything not bound to character from kil. Like consumables. Stacks I don’t need to ever carry. So shared is looking like the store. Mostly it’s filled with cannith gear sets.
Been doing some legacy augment stuff. I have lot of hidden augments, but none too great. That scourge of the outsiders I’m going to farm. That is the newer storyline with reapers. Took the two out duality, good and vampire slayer. Relog, and put the good back in. Dr breakers. Oh ya. What’s the dr on rahkshasa? I can’t kill them. I like I see the colors for the new augments. And the new augments in general. Really shores up a few spots.
So, the plan. Oh ya, racial and universal ap tomes. Nice. Need to look those on sale.
The plan. Tr do alchemist, see that class, worried since it’s colors and I don’t play them well, but red yello and blue are ez enuf. Because I’m looking max wisdom. Can get +2 for completionist. +2 racial. Need qwis5 from item, and can maybe get farm over a year enough to do the +4 wis artifact 3pc set bonus. And by then the 4th reaper wis, so 2 2 5 4 1 from 100 is 114 max wis.
On the racial, 1 tome 1 universal, and 6 more racial pts, take 3 out of Henshin. Put into ninja, for dodge and cap, get a 50 standing dodge.
There’s also more to be had now epic destinies. Will plan some farm for that. I asked, some said it’s not hard to gear for a alchy.

Old build saves were 100. On this, I’m missing reflex item, but it’s made up in reaper.
Old build ds was 58. 52 base, but +6 for running with the wind, which is on the rl raid necklace. Didn’t know it granted doublestrike. Ds issue. Decide to go 4 pc winter instead of putting on mantle of fury for 22 DS. That would bring ds to 80 standing, 110 reaper boost. I was very worried the loss, that’s the third strike dps so it counts a third, but the break even is 66 so I’m under and with the Sharn raid necklace I would get it back, farm age baby. And with the raid belt I would get qwis but lose the 4pc winter. Think I’m keeping the hp.
So new epics. Dance for 1w, hail for 3DS, wind for 6DS, standing stone x2 for 10prr, drifting lotus back on my hot bar!! And ein for the surprise attack. Or boss trash aggro.

Ya the loot needs more options for insightful and quality. Options, not placement. The craftable stuff is gold. Flexibility makes for build diversity. It also makes monsters, but that’s the sell.

Lfm for augment, boys showed up, did a quick r3, no augment, but a mythic1 magmatic grasp drop. Needed that. Since the guys were r6 we did it again, and the aug dropped for cadaverM, and he passed, he was looking the ring. I offered again, but ransack ain’t a good thing. Like the other night, had a grasshopper showing me how to check for feywild chests. Yes, but that not how it works. Then the three of us left and ran endless revels on r6. I was still looking the crown, ran it couple times last nite. We all got blanked, but I did a reroll, and got the crown and a crystal hammer. Hahaha. Treasure pots ftw!
Oh and spending shards. Don’t get me wrong, this cost me about 1500 shards in reroll, a monthly vip, fey expansion for 40, and I bought some double points. So maybe couple hundred bucks and a month of 8 hour days I got completely regeared. No raid loot yet, working on that.

Slotted the scourge of the outsiders. For the drop, there were 4 reapers spawned at the start of the dryad. “Reaper meeting?” The story tells itself.
Talked to fey for favor. 5hp. Also the standing stone bump in gmof, and hp over 3400. But I’m still easy +4 stats short.

Thoughts already about strikethrough: the mobs have to be double stacked? You know mob ai is surround. Glancing blows did multiple enemies around of you, now strikethrough does enemies deep? Pulled out my ml1 vorpal qstaff and ml2 ghostbane staff.
Need 11 ap for falconry, forgot that and went Henshin. Had to go 19 wis.
5 3bc and fey gear. Went thru my stuff, grabbed a 7 pc fey. The green spring garb and cloak are pretty bright, but I liked the look.
8 slavers gear. Staff of the seer. Funny just the pieces I needed were starter slots, a neck, a bracer and a ring. Feeling way op. Zerg everything but staff just feels slow. It’s the loss of aoe. I’m so used as alchy to just nuke groups in 3 buttons. As melee, there is so much clicking, so much. It’s not worth it. Melee needs buttons like spells. It’s just too much grind. And too much maneuver. The melee is always adjusting movement, the caster just comes in there stands and nukes it dead. The melee jumping over or backpedaling after a bad hit or all kind of not easy stuff. Three times the work. And you get hit. The other two styles don’t involve getting hit. Even tho they have comparable ac prr mrr and hit points. The spread on a d4 to d12 is only 8. They probably need to unnnerf that granularity.
So far been running falconry and shintao. Henshin tree just sucks. Got 4 hands at 7, that was a big improvement on my Zerg capacity.and on spot saving others. Stuff like that should start at 4, at low level. Just because it’s so qol and so really necessary. And not 2 op.
9 cleave. Now see if my aoe is any better.
11 found some ravenloft gear. Silent avenger and pinnacle. So op Zerg slavers. Runny with buddy r3, otherwise Zerg r1. Rxp weekend but who cares it just icing. Thx SSg

Build is generally doing well. I’m running shintao, falconry and 11 into aasimar. But have no tier5 yet. Going up Henshin tree now. Funny, Henshin tree is general ****. Just a few decent things. Shintao is much better. That’s an old synergy. Now trees are designed as stand alone. Need to put mp back in Henshin tree, just make it for quarter staff.
Was tempted to take great cleave at 12. Feels like I need it. But 16-20 is decent, but x2 sucks. You would think a metal staff might crunch more.
Not really seeing strikethrough. But seeing hitting multiple targets. But that feels more the staff and twitch. Ya need the extra cleave. And able to jade 2 looks cool.

I could see why you would want more monk levels though for hp
Sometimes I question being so many bonuses to hit and damage if its better to just start high hit damage stat and pour everything into con as you level if you have at least plus 6 tomes.
At least for melee... caster DC is another ballgame.

14-20 over weekend, 20 Monday. Don’t have 15 Sharn set, was running undergeared but not much difference. Took great cleave at 15 seems needed in my aoe rotation. Waited until 20 to redo enhancements. Wasn’t even running tier5 Henshin, kept points in shintao for jades. Ya those essential for reaper control, and if luck I can jade 2. Been able to jade 2 reapers that were next to each other. Qp and void strike. Qp works fairly regularly, void strike happens if your lucky, but it’s a decent strike. 2 cleaves, 2 jades, dismissing, not far up into the aasimar tree is the trade off, lose 5% sacred hp. But in reaper at 21 with edf 1800 hp. 800 hp self heal, put meld and cocoon on bars. Took haste and extra action boosts. Had 21 gear. Con neck shelter and fort bracers, black boots, wisdom ring, oh I put on prowess at 17. And still have reaper cob. Have a dodge sr cloak, and need to farm the wisdom belt from keep. Using stout oak. Pulled the gem and 5 out of the electric stick and put in 5 pc prowess. Gem at 35k? I really like hopeful best. Got on a grim disturbance for 22. Also cc21 dex gloves. And gs goggles. Epic voice for trinket. Rolling to 30.
Oh took ein and scattering of petals, and drifting lotus. Purple flashy rooms are so cool.

24 one day, 29 next. Put gear on
The moment of anticipation. I recall what I needed from shintao. But the issue is there is more in shintao as a shintao, and even as a Henshin, than there is Henshin in the other 2.
Here’s the ddo fix. Drop attack animation to 2 add more big buttons. Then you’d have room cap for the 4 animation cycle, and get away from auto attack. And slow melee back down. At the same time, incur a -50% movement penalty to backwards movement. That’s caster and ranged nerf. Running around backwards in circles is stupid. Playing the don’t get hit game is stupid.
Ok back to gear. Have the reaper cob, direwolf and insightful commands. Really looked the changestone, and went and crafterd a reaper slavers trinket, and put mythic1 on it. DEX ACC stunning QWIS4. Better overall. Need stun since no perfect pinnacle, missing qwis, lose 4 dex and 6 acc from changestone, but the dcs on dire charge and drifting lotus get upped.
Also somewhere in there I relooked enhancements. 41 Henshin. 13 shintao? 23 falconry? 11 racial, 12? I’ll break it down at 30, still need a level and it’s raid nite. Oh I switched over to DC to see how that played. Not much, well, ya really different. Zeal and sacred ground, I feel more like vish. But I know the destiny. And it has wisdom. So I’m gonna off destiny 6mil dc for divine pl. did 6 mil for martial and took martial pl last reroll. 3 and 3. Have to off destiny when I pike.
Had the spear in inv. Always the gripe, I had to burn a lot of sentient tools, and I took from my 8 slot wild frost. The dwarf gem. Legendary! Ok. It has 8. I have a 5 pc rare set prowess in duality, that’s not getting moved, and it’s swap, just like spite. Oh I took martial arts at 27, maybe take 10k stars, for TS. Lol we failed hard a r10 this morning. Ok and 5 pc prowess in set in stout oak that’s my reroll 20 staff. May still run Henshin again on reroll, also have grave wrappings. So this my third set prowess, and I’m down to a few off rare and 3 commons. So 5 pc prowess. Then, then, I looked raid filigree. So from the ring, which would require more sentient tools, I left 2 rare 5mp, and put in a rare wis2 filigree. And for the other 3 in spear I did frozen wanderer raid and 2 rare for 10 mrr cap. So ha 60 mrr beat that. So somehow I had 99 wis, picked up 3? From filigree have 103 and 109 in reaper? Maybe 106 I was just looking stats. And 260 prr. Over 200 ac but only 38 dodge. Had 47 shintao, not sure what’s up there.
So burned ddo pts to regear.
Oh also, raid runes. Family blessing neck. DOUBLESTRIKE is at 63. Boost to 93 reaper. And melee power was 200ish boost to 250 or so. Haven’t checked dps. Should be double. That oak staff was x4 this spear is x3 so crits will suffer, but best auto attack speed.
Oh ya enh. Didn’t have the wisdom trance. Pulled the jades and dismissing strike. Normal I’d have less in shintao, missing like 5 or 6 from aasimar for the sacred hp buff. Hp 2400 and 3336 reaper. Would be 3500 aasimar, what I was aiming for. Also, not using the dire wolf belt on Henshin, for the superior fist. Took direbear from scoob, I may have one mules, didn’t look. Need to farm a a mythic anyway and a mythic hammerfist.
So it would have been a 110 with a 20 start,and a 112 with racial. Max I can go I think. Will never see it again.

Will post stats 30. After some test.

30 took astral and epic damage reduction. Thought 10k, but that’s just so rare and I don’t have a gem for spite. But I did dps toven tonite in MA with it. Maybe a few spots, but if I can’t melee it I usual just pike it.
The spear is piercing, doh. Will have to level another gem and test shadowstaff.

Last nite dnd, called to kite the unicorn at end. Ended up dps and tanking it. Got a lot of flak but it just LH, and I was testing the build. It’s pretty tough. Do your job. Ya it’s so fast and smooth and u know we won’t fail even if the unicorn is running around loose. Sometimes having fun isn’t allowed in the quest to chest? Ppl don’t like being playful? Is it a trust thing? I didn’t die, but the other 800 hp monk did. I have 2500 lh. Talking the r1 game? Ok then let’s run it r1. Lh is cake walk and you should be testing it to some degree. I mean I wanted to test my boss dps so I get the kite job. Ok I’m gonna tank it and dps it and hit meld and healed myself when needed. Oh in lh I heal for like 2500, so it’s a full heal button. Actually that was the most thrill I got in that raid from last nite. Everything else was routine. Ie boredom, just there to get the runes. I have 3500 in reaper let’s go.
Working 1 more point reaper for the last core +1 dodge so 43? On Henshin. Good enough. Ya I put in prr and wis instead of maybe 15 more mp? I can 100 qp with 10 min of trance.oh dcs

The piercing on the staff is troubling. Pulled another black razor and will level that to 5 slots. And put in a prowess set and test it. It’s bludgeon and x3. I also have a GS affirmation staff. Used it in invitation last nite against the chapel Skelly, saw 4500 hp.

Tested r10. Can tank dooms. Really a dodge tank dps build. Tried omniscience, ac went to 260. Will keep the insightful, slotted a globe, all stats even in norm. Where raids happen.
Arg, was down to ddo100 pts. I feel like bailing because. Just because. If they edition change it and push it as a game renovation, not just here we changed it all after 9 years. Meaning give us the archetypes, don’t just jelly everything and let us find the exploit. It’s forethought that finds the spectacular combo, not random luck. Or I would hope so. So arg needed name change. So $35 bucks as an ode to the good job they have done, despite the complaints, because I do find entertainment, just not in being airy to others. 495 for name change, put some into shards they’re on sale, and I need to upgrade my xp shrine on the boat. Ya the Henshin is over the top. For r4-6 anyway. The r10 run had 2 alchy for holds and dps, and as usual, was on cleanup tagging kills. But the dps surprised me, and even the alchy s.
But without hold and aoe dps casters, r10 is too dangerous melee. I can prob solo, but I never as melee. I want these epic pl over, then back to alchy, so much more fun and easy. Melee a chore.

For the devs, I never really use frog, even tho 500sp in reap., and meld is an oh **** button, not a cycle button. And I can’t tell that scattering petals does anything.

Ok I can tell petals adds 100prr for 12 sec. which boosts to 360 so not much diff from 260. I have come to use it as a second meld boost.
Now for reroll I was gonna Henshin and keep testing. But maybe shintao for the wraps stats. Depends on lam time and when u50 will hit.

Lod r4 came late, they had boss on the torchlight cheese, I ki shout grab aggro and tanked him. Then it was fast dps. Most of the party was dead when I arrived. I am surprised by the tankiness. It’s dodge high hp and healing hands. And a meld for moments. That is how I felt when I ran shintao previously, that it was very tankish, but I never fully put it to test. Mostly since ki shout wasn’t working and you couldn’t hold aggro. Or pull it. Now ki shout is serious button to use. But trick is keeping bosses in the circle.
Ran citw c1-3 and turned in 2 saga. Ran druids, lod , stormhorns. Up to 26. With pthf will roll to 30 r1.




30 finding I can r1 30 quests at 26 or 27. 27 is a reaper point break. Not super but contributing. Because the diff is about 30 stat.

It really is needed and more drastic. Like cutting melee attacks in half and nerf backwards speed 50%. That’s really where the dynamics would change. But they said they wanted this to be a faster Zerg like game. But the ceiling is already maxed out at 30.
Idk. I don’t know no lvl 40 dnd. Never ever really knew any 30 either. So in that regard, this game epic and legendary are some kinda creation not so much dnd that I know. Epics in this game is some kind of continuation of your 20 class. I knew from deity’s and demigod that the heroics and epic types often multiclassed. Or had multiple 20 classes or additionally psionics. That’s really missing too, but it would need a whole nether layer. Because that was a game into itself too. But it this game it would prob just become force blasts. Maybe with ki use. That’s what I proposed.
But the chopping off the epic and 30 game to sell it back as 40. Then I want a 20/20 split game. Some of the u51 stuff I could agree to. But as I been doing these epic past lives, I think, at 20 I have full destiny and can roll 21 and it’s fun. It’s fun being epic at 20. You put the time in for it, you capped all your spheres you’re an epic completionist. And all I think is that’s gone. That fun running full out at 20 will be level gated to a bunch of points into tier 2. Then 24/5 you get t3 then 27 t4 and 30 t5. It will be oh so cool progressive but it will be oh so not cool not fun.
They need to add a sphere not drop the spheres. But I rarely agree their overall design philosophy. Almost like if I recommend it I get just the ****ing opposite. Like that stuff with monk changes and adding melee power to Henshin. Nothing but nerfs to monk after they boost them up. So sick of that cycle. It’s being toyed with. It’s always changing the rules. It’s playing how we want to play.
Idk I’ll get my epics done and just sit Cap. I still have about 9 racials to do? Not looking forward to them, just for a +2 to stats. But long range goal I would like to finish. Not that I need them as I say, anything I build ends up monster. +2 is just extra cherries.
But it’s pretty easy doing two epic reroll s. There’s enough content now you can find some fresh quests to level up faster. Daily’s are really no more. Seems more about slAyers. Oh in that regard, found a ravenloft amber run in wilderness that was pretty fun and good mobs. Running down the road with a full team and get good spawns. Just go to end of road recall reset. Pretty fast rl slayers. I still don’t much slayer, but I bought 5 100% pots for maybe the third leg.
Being that I want to reroll and see the shintao stats. Before the nerfs roll in.

30 r6 can tank bosses and dooms. Pocket tank, like pocket battleship. Tho the orthons in vod still get a piece of me when I one up them. Meld for 12 scattering of petals, and self heals x7 to keep me alive. Ran a r6 archon trial, archon boss at end I thanked ez with minimal heals. She missed me continually. That’s 230 ac and 42 dodge. With 270 prr.
Took 10k stars at 27. Decided *** it’s for a couple spots. I could have grabbed .5w from martial arts but that’s not much either. Def a take for shintao tho. At 30 I took 10 prr. I may take past life monk on shintao, think that adds .5. I’ll look this next reroll, after I copy gory over to lam on Tuesday.
