I'm following this plan as a VIP 2nd life (past life Monk) 34 pt. Human, and it's working very well so far (at 4th level). Stats almost the same, and same leveling plan, but just one glitch. For some reason, I'm not getting access to the Henshin enhancement tree, which is cramping my style a little. May be a bug, and I've submitted a bug report. If there's no solution for this, I suppose I'll make it to 20 without it, and TR again. But where to put the extra AP's? I suppose I could try Vistani once it's actually working.

You can only have six class trees available at once. Pick one of your trees that you aren't using, and use the drop-down menu to switch it for Henshin.

Good thinking, but I only have four active at present: Human, Ninja/Spy, Shintao, and Harper. The others it shows as being available are Mechanic, Thief-Acrobat, Assassin and Vistani.

Just now I reset all trees, 0 points spent, set all but Human to Unset, and the available options are still the same.

I'm guessing there can only be eight options, and Vistani, which isn't even working yet, is blocking it.

This build looks very interesting and an idea I had mulling around for a while to test Divine Will as well! Would love detailed notes on feats in epic levels as well and how this works for you as you level! Look forward to updated notes as you go on!

Ok looks like you worked out the secret to enhancement trees.

Ya 34 won't have complete, so move CE to 6, sa at 7, then ww at 9.
It works with either arti or rogue, whatever your pref. I go rogue for max skills. Don't need the dog or sp.

I'm at 7 now. Got the trapping goggles on. Rolling r1 solo.
Don't have ap yet for tomb, or into aasimar to test it out. Prob won't have room til after 12.
Need to run tear and gwylands then 8 for Von's and spies.
The Shintao works out great. Scrolling Rez at 50% at 7. And teleport, and getting the 30% bonus. So it's a massive heroic build. I really like running monk and wisdom builds.
Just got skill points for search disable Umd and spot. Find that concentration isn't needed. Run in fire to build ki and have jidz teka bracers for 100 hamp. Finding the aasimar loh is super for a wis build, even in reaper. Have like 350 hp reaper. Have great saves and evasion. Found evasion to be a life saver on the clonk I just ran. Think I'm leaning evasion over prr/mrr.
Easy to get all scores over 30 on this build. That's why he's a mad monk.

Slight twist on this: Since my Mad Monk is Human, not Aasimar, I used my human bonus feat for the dragonmark of passage. I want Ddoor!
But I'm still one feat ahead of the program, since I don't have completionist. Can still get WW at 9.

    Notes
This is a max defense special attacks fighter
    Been running the aasimar ap
Respected at 12 into tier5 Shintao
But before that split was henshin for mp, and into aas for wings.
They're pretty cool. Next build will be protector.
And the loh is heavenly, on a wisdom build. Looking forward to that even more on my celestial monk build.
But this is Shintao. So stunning fist for double damage and tomb of jade for champs and reapers.
Whirlwind at 12, in time for gh. Cc gear at 13. Reaping gh.
Didn't post gear. It's the usual setup. Cc13 at neck Bracer and ring replaces slavers. It's a +4 gain. Then spectral gloves. Not using litany yet keeping the symbol.
Mostly been running r1 for fast times. Leveling quickly, I'm at about right point. Learning new quicker leveling paths.
Didn't put down pos sp but it should be about 120? For the lone clw I have. But aasimar have pos in their tree so that bodes well for monks doing fists of light. I see aasimar Shintao monk as being super strong. Which is basically what this build is.
Been testing out divine will. It adds some. Helps, but isn't a game changer. Maybe in epics with jacked wisdom. Keeps up. If you run a wisdom build which is Shintao.
But the trick of this build is it's defenses. 84 AC at 13 with max dodge. And good saves with improved evasion. Can't be touched.
Plus I can trap. And do scrolls. Super build for heroics.
Not the same play as face palming warlocks with cone and tentacles, but if you like running forward instead of backwards this build does that.
Plus it's fast and jumpy. Super Mario.

Also. Seems they fixed selector for str/wis/cha for aasimar racial cores. Before it was only giving me str, now it's showing all three. Much appreciated. And supposedly fixed duration, but I never noticed that.

    Notes
Found a sweet bandana to wear. Was looking for something after I put on the robes, to replace the executioners, and found a stunning cap. With fort and prr. So it's great add.
Running the litany for even stats in dex and wis. I could be running dex10 gloves, but would need to swap in the compass. Figured would work about the same. Most I would gain would be +2. On reflex and AC. And to hit and damage. Hmmm. Maybe I better test that out too.
Getting +9 from divine will. A nice add, and since this is Shintao, running full wisdom, for DCs, and AC. And have **** near 100 AC in robes. So it's sweet super defenses. The will also adds DCs, but forgot to list them. They were both over 40 and one was 50. So that's pretty decent. I can tomb and fist most anything, and just got qp set up, so I'll be testing that.
    Stunning fist 48 (+9 divine will) = 57
    Quivering palm 38 = 47
    Tomb of jade 55 = 64

Now here's for the breakdown. Realize I'm running cc13 gear, so maybe a couple more points max. The 46 wisdom is +16 over the 30 dex. So that's +8 to hit damage on a wisdom conversion build. So on the celestial monk it should even out pretty good among henshin. The loss in mp is made up in pure stats. Tho in the end it can make back some mp in dreadnaought. But I'm gonna run it in dc.

Really tho, this build is versatile and performs. During the run this life did some 5 and 8 reaper, and melee is really just standing around. Damage is 0 and it's not really any fun. I mean, I could be running a charming warlock and running reaper 5, but that sht aint for everyone, and what with server pop the way it is, don't draw a big crowd. So a lot of soloer locks dragging ppl through shi they shouldn't be in. Really the fun ats 2 or 3. Then everybody can contribute.

    On aasimar
It's all in the trees. When a tree is well made it is a pleasure to play. And I have been enjoying aasimar.
I chose fallen for the melee power, and I wanted to see their wings. They look pretty cool, all spectral like. And they got a big unfurl animation that is pretty amazing.
Using the basic cores for extra loh. The loh is great on a wis build. Heals for more than full hp. This would just be extra gravy on a paladin, but as is is more of an emergency heal. I got fists of light and I use it in groups that need it. But a heal like loh is a great life saver. Even in reaper its a decent self heal, and will keep you alive.
The bonds are neat and divine purpose is just a toggle. So you can keep it up all the time. Then there is form that uses charges and grows wings. Still learning to use them, mostly for flashy fight scenes. Looks cool, good animations. I can see why they're releasing this early, so we can beta test all the news stuff. And have it working by the time the expansion hits.
So I think aasimar are a win. I know, the males run like little girls but that is acceptable for a heavenly race. I mean, walk quietly and carry a big stick, ya? And they do pack a punch, all even stats and +2 wisdom. And heal amp too. That's important for reaper.
Next I am going to test a wisdom conversion fvs build. A protector aasimar. See how that turns out. See the risen side.
