Will there be any bug fixes, I hope?

I received an exotic error message and promptly uninstalled DDO thinking the files had been corrupted somehow. Should've guessed.
I wish one could download the game while the game worlds are down.

Because they knew it would bother you. You, specifically.

Just keep a copy of the game on some other place on your hard drive, or a flash drive (or CD if you still use those). Makes reinstallation much , much easier (and faster, if your internet is not that good).

wish we could have a timer here so I can see how long until the game is up. I have been sitting here watching this space for hours now (Ok I did walk the dog do the washing, feed the family, read a book, fell asleep for a bit, but apart from that) I have been sitting here waiting!

maybe 1 hour to go? and then the kids are back from swimming, not a good day to be home sick at all!

A countdown timer to when the game worlds re-open is not feasible imo, because they are down due to doing maintenance, and the worlds cannot be re-opened until that maintenance is done. They do have an estimate for how long this will take, posted in the OP. 1pm EST is, at the time of posting this, 1 hour and 50 minutes away (so basically 2 more hours).

If they finish early they will update this thread. If there are unexpected delays and have to keep them closed for longer, they will update this thread (at least they should, and in the past when such has happened they have done this).

I wish we could download the whole file instead of patching (if we can, where?).
