Keep random chance of Mimic spawn on chests permanently not just during Mimic Event

I would love it even more if there were mimics that looked like bookcases or altars, so that when you went to pick up that collectable...

I would enjoy this... but i would need more mimic forms eventually... alchemy tables, bookshelves, rubble piles, shrines...

And barrels, crates, boxes - imagine breaking a dozen boxes at once and getting several mimics.

I would love this and have asked for the same in the past. Give chests a global chance of ~1% of being a mimic at all times, and ramp it up during the event.

I wouldn't want the Mimic event kept on permanently, but I would like to see a low chance of seeing a possible mimic and not just as a chest. maybe a 1-5% chance and include them in the Monster Manual.

I think the mimic farming should be year round, but when the mimic festival is not running should be based on a potion you drank to increase your appeal to mimics (Temporarily turns you into a mild mimic bait for 48 hours, pauses in public, not counting crystal cove wilderness). The mimic that would appear would only be interested in attacking whoever drank said potion and can not be damaged by players who have not drank said potion. Potions should be able to be purchased for 500 mysterious remnants.
