    Lightbulb Master Blitz change?

    I don't know how to go about contacting the devs but figured this would be a way to get some attention. I have always liked the idea of master blitz in the fighter destiny tree and loved the change to give stacks based on a 10% chance per hit on an enemy but... The change itself helps a lot of players in order to keep stacks in harder difficulty quests where enemies have lots of hps or for boss dps. On the down side of things this majorly affects quests where enemies don't have many hps at all or running with other groups where you aren't able to get more than a few swings in. So i want to reach out to the devs to think about slightly changing master blitz to be helpful in all situations more than say bow users or shuriken throwers where they have lots of proc potentials.

    I want to get an idea of what others think but in my opinion i have 2 ideas: First idea is to move the 1/10 hits will land a proc to more like a 1/4 chance. This will help fighters that don't get more than a few hits in on an enemy. Second idea is to keep the 10% chance to help keep the dps up on bosses but bring back the stack for killing an enemy. This will help keep boss dps up without giving a huge increase to chance on procs but also help during the quest for enemies that don't have a lot of hps and melee users are killing them in just a couple swings.

    So please devs take into consideration on the upcoming update to take a minor look at a simple rework to master blitz. I feel the second idea would be the better of the two options but would take a little more rework than just changing a 10% to 25%.

    Would love some feedback

    Sorry, but I like it the way it is. Start changing things and people will cry that it's too powerful and then things get nerfed and it will be worse. (Remember the 30% human damage boost? now that didn't need changing and it was fine before but now its worse since the switch to melee power...)

    If it ain't broken, don't fix it...

    Why wanting a change like that? Every epic moment for melees dps have a downside to it, either being the timer, counter and ki cost from Everything is Nothing, the 30 second duration from Unbridled Fury Epic Moment, the overtime downgrading from Zeal of the Righteous. Your idea is just to take off the only downside Blitz has. That seems about right in terms of game equilibrium, hey? There's nothing wrong with Blitz, it is still the best dps epic moment, and there's absolutely no need of any change whatsoever.

    The downside of blitz would be comparable to zeal for the fact you have 4 mins of not being able to use anything since the cool down begins after the 50 stacks have been used up. Fury is probably very similar to compare with blitz while it's running since it has the ability to regenerate adrenaline strikes which make up for the downtime of Unbridled Fury having the cool down but with that being said, you are able to use the adrenaline strikes on more than just the boss multiple times consistently. Mainly i wanted to see if others felt frustrated not being able to really use blitz in group questing because its very hard to get enough hits to keep blitz going. Most of the time, if I'm not soloing, i use it strictly during boss fights because of its cool down. What made me finally get upset was the few times i activated blitz, i would go the full 45s on my thrower throwing 3 to 5 shurikens a throw plus through multiple enemies trying to obtain the most number of hits and not gain a single stack. i know in 45s with enemies lining up and throw speed the number of total hits is well over 2-300 which by 10% i should have gotten at least a single stack and this has occurred multiple times. Now playing as a melee, i feel like i rarely gain stacks or even able to really use blitz with my luck with the 10% chance.

    So after playing around some more with my melee build and blitz I now have a better idea that would benefit just melees and not help those like archers or shuriken throwers. Since melees don't usually attack as fast as a range build or able to hit as many, instead of upping the chance or granting a stack from getting a kill, what about placing a high chance on receiving a stack from momentum swing and a larger chance on lay waste? If this is done, then the range build wouldn't be able to get the stacks without wasting 2 feats. one on power attack and another on cleave. Melees fall short in power to range builds now a days and my goal of this thread was to try to get ideas to help keep them up to par with a range builds by being able to sustain a better blitz build. What do u think about this idea Revolted?
