Sorry about your loss. This seems to be the typical runaround people get when they encounter this problem. In-game directs you to SSG online account support, SSG online account support directs you to in-game support. Your best bet is to continually press the issue here in the forums. It may take weeks or even longer before you get any response let alone a partial resolution. SSG said months ago this is a number one priority for them but they've done little to show that and refuse to udpate or even comment on it further. In reality, their customer service response to situations like this shows they'd rather ignore it and hope it goes away on its own.

At this point I guess your best option is to keep carrying on in this thread until you (maybe) get some attention.
What's really astonishing about this is that we still have people, both optimistic players and former employees, claiming that people having this problem are being helped promptly and getting all their items back. What an absolute load.
Reincarnation is the lifeblood of this game and although the bug causing the problem may be hard to diagnose and fix, it should be simplicity itself to make sure people having this problem are properly supported. Because it's hardly ever happening, right? That's the line, isn't it?
Anyway, good luck with it. If DDO does bite the dust soon it's certain that such incredibly poor customer service will have played a part. It's absolute madness that the people who have stuck with the game all of these years and are still willing to support it in spite of all its problems are being treated like this.

Queue the "there is no problem, it's overblown, because the devs said..." crowd. Followed by the "you must have done something to cause this" crowd.
It's never a real problem until it happens to you.
You're welcome, but unfortunately it's all so obvious and has already been said many times before.
All we can do is stick together as a community and try to keep the pressure on. It's not okay for SSG to treat its customers like this, and some of us have constantly been telling them so in these threads.
I intend to keep doing just that until this problem is either fixed or customer service is improved to the point where if it happens to you they can fix your problem in a reasonable amount of time and get you back into the game with no items lost.
And while they're at it, they might consider spending half an hour creating a thread that:
1. tells people what if anything they can do the avoid the problem,
2. describes the process for getting help so people aren't bounced between the different support avenues and,
3. guarantees that people affected by the bug will have everything they lose replaced.
The slow service is bad, but the uncertainty that you're going to be helped at all is even worse.
I'd also encourage people to consider reducing their spending on the game to make this message really bite. Give your money to charity, go to the opera, spend it on another game or buy some beer and nudie mags, whatever you prefer. Or at the very least, just put the money you were going to spend aside until the situation improves.
This appallingly bad attitude to helping customers should not be rewarded financially, and this issue affects all of us directly or indirectly.

Please don't submit more than one ticket on the issue, that may be what's causing your runaround. PM me the ticket numbers, and I'll make sure CS has the proper ticket to respond to.

I had something similar on Tomes when i TRd. I had lost a lot of my Tomes on a Character. First time i had noticed this and this was the 4th TR for him. SSG cannot help with in game lost items, it can only be done in game from what i understand. SSG can help with website side account problems from what i was told. So for character issues you have to go to the in-game GM for help. This does take time, i have a feeling there is not a lot of GMs and they are very over worked. But when you do get one they will help, if it is something that can be helped.
You can put a ticket in for the character with the issue, but make sure they know what character you are playing on while you wait. This way they contact the right character that is online. This helps keep the wait time from being boring and idle. The in-game GMs really do want to help, just have patient and kind.
I also have to imagine they get spammed with a lot of fake requests, so they have to weed through that too.

I guess screenshot everything, doesn't really help with the items that much, I have my screenshots of all my tomes and I take on of my epic xp and such every time I do that life, but items...
My sample size of like 11 TRs is not going to help you, but don't have any items in the rep slots of your bank or character inventory. I don't know the order of operation but it may end up deleting your rep and all the bonuses therefrom before it transfers the gear?
No good answers, just sorry to hear it. This has been going on for years though and no fix in sight.
