I bought a heroic learning tome upgrade tonight after a TR and it didn't show up in my inventory. I had a problem where some items were in my inventory instead of my TR cache. I tried re-logging...everything currently in inventory went to my TR cache but the purchased tome never appeared.

It might have been pulled into the TR cache. Try searching there.
People that have encountered similar situation (items still in inventory after TR) reported that TR cache eventually swallowed their entire inventory, including items from new life.

It wasn't pulled into the TR cache, although other items were. What happened was: earlier in the day I opened the store on another char. When I ordered from the browser, the tome was delivered to the previous char and not the one I was logged in on.
