That's more than you would get from a broker unless you had a ridiculous haggle (in which case you don't care about 3000 plat anyway). If you trust me, you can mail the weapons directly to Rastest and I will return 3,000 plat to you when I detach them. If you don't trust me or don't want to pay the mail fee, just send me a mail that you have x amount of +5 weapons and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.

Depends on the weapon.

Imo if just for trash, that's a bit low, but not terribly. And for F2P who don't have much access to post on the AH, it's reasonable.

They're getting the same profit as they would if they sold an item for ~4300 on the AH (less 30%). It's a good deal for you, but not a bad one for them.

But if the weapon is actually "usable" (altho' in the mid-late teens few are, admittedly), it's far too low.

Average Cannith Essence output from deconstruct +5 weapon/shield about 16-22 ppc.

Lowest price for essence in Argo AH is 500 ppc, average - 750-800 ppc.

So, why anyone must sell stuff to you for 3k plat, if after deconstruct he can sell same stuff at least twice better price? 8)

Yeah, I don't know if that's accurate.

First, I'll admit that I'm not sure what ML range "+5" encompasses - and essence return is based on ML.

But I ~think~ (tho' I could be wrong) that +5's are in the range of ML 14-17, and those deliver something like 7-12 essences, typically. More is possible, but so is less - that's my gut feel average.

So, ~if~ that (7-12) is accurate, that's 9.5 average, and at 3k/ item that's just over 300/essence. Taking the 30% AH fee into consideration, that's 450/essence, which is low but not unseen on the AH.

As I said - not a bad deal for F2P sellers, not bad at all - but (admittedly) a good deal for the buyer.

Keep in mind that even if you had max haggle (selling to brokers for ~50% base price), you would still only get around 3,000±200, depending on the weapon type. I'm trying to give everyone a fair, consistent, and guaranteed deal, and so capture the +5 weapons that would otherwise go to vendors.

You don't have to sell to me! You can always try your luck on the auction house.
But this is a guaranteed thing. So if someone doesn't think deconstructing and listing is worth his time, I am a perfectly good option.

Yep, I'm trying to give the best deal possible for the buyer without losing too much money. I will make sure mailing +5 weapons to me is easier than possibly wasting time on the auction house.
