I was leveling my crafter right before the "worlds are going down message" came through. I was using a store bought pot that I got during the last crafting bonus weekend. As these only go for an hour, and I had nearly 45 minutes left on the pot, should I put in an in-game ticket to replace it or what? I really hate losing a pot that keeps counting down even when not crafting/logged out

I would just play on another character tonight, if you have one, 'til they turn it back on. I don't *think* they count down when logged.

This Information is not very helpful, besides you annonce when the boost is enabled and when it turns off more exact. (is it active now? because today is already your tomorrow and it is already 3:37 pm in Germany)

Understood, this is not a typical thing to have happen. The boost is now active as of about 20 minutes ago (I was skimming the forums prior to posting it.)

A 20 minute in game warning of the servers shutting down is not a sufficient warning. Our group was in very long quest and barely finished by the skin of our teeth.

I had been saving up months worth of essences waiting for just such an event. I burned through everyone of those essences thinking I was getting the crafting XP boost....wrong!!!!

I don't remember Turbine being quite this clown shoes incompetent. It's rather disturbing, honestly.

When you announce online (World Broadcast) a shutdown/restart that starts in less than 1 hour, could you also please include that will occur in X minutes? This has 2 purposes, first some people may not be able to quickly convert local time to EST. Second it lets us know the difference between your clock and ours. If you say the worlds come done at 9:30 and (after converting time zones) my clock says 9:22 I know I have 8 minutes, except your clock is 4 minutes faster than mine so I really only have 4 minutes.

Converting is not needed if the shutdown is in less than an hour. Just ignore the hour indicator. If the worlds are shutting down at XX:45 then the next time your minute hand (or digital display) reads :45 then the game will shut down.

The only exception are the weird 1/2 hour time zones of which I believe there are only a couple around the world. If you live in one of those then you are probable already used to dealing with conversion and the same logic applies, just add :30.
