Could you do a build for this for a first lifer, I am interested in the speed and Monk/Rogue build, that would still be playable on at least Elite/Reaper 1. Any Race and Any class, what stats, feats and all that, whatever the best options would be for the speed and survival. Levels 1-20.

Did not realize i spelled his name wrong. I fixed it, accidents happen. I did not see shadow dancer in his post there, just the enhancements. So the Ninja + Assassin + DWS he mentions only works if you also add in Shadow dancer tree?

If all you're looking for is speed, you can toss a level of Barb in there for +5% more (you gain 10% from Barb, but lose 5% from Monk 18). However, losing the Monk 18 capstone may not be worth it if you're going on to Epic levels. Otoh, if you're just going to TR @ 20, you may want to aim for an 18-level build anyway, since you'll only be at 20 for a moment in the toon's life.

However, "the fastest" is no great improvement over "very, very fast" - they're all of a type at that point.

Interesting to see this thread necro'd again, as I had recently been discussing high movement speed builds for my static group.

Looking back over the thread, I realize I had actually missed a build that has a higher burst speed than any others I mentioned:

18 Monk/2 Druid

Base - 100%
Enhancement - 50% Pendant (public only) / +40% Shadow Walk (quest)
VIP - 10% (public only)
Monk - 30% Fast Movement
Druid - 10% Wolf Form

Passive Move Speed:

= 200% (public) / 180% (quest)

Burst Move Speed:
Action Boost - 50% Snowslide this is wrong
Action Boost - 45% Sprint Boost

= 245% (public) / 225% (quest)

It's only 1% faster than the previous fastest mentioned, but given that the thread aims to find the absolute fastest, I figured I'd mention it! Nope! It's fast, but not the fastest

Honestly, I didn't have a build in mind, it was purely hypothetical. I guess I would do it as a handwrap build? 34 Shintao / 27 Falconry / 8 DWS / 4 Assassin / 4 Ninja is 77 APs.

The DWS, Ninja, and Assassin Stealthy movement speed bonuses stack and was confirmed as WAI. Not sure if they stack additively or multiplicatively, but you can have all three by level 4 if you're so inclined.

Shadow Training II stacking as well was confirmed as not WAI, but I don't recall seeing any mention of it being nerfed / bugfixed.

LOL! Good catch, guys. I had in my head 18 Druid/2 Monk when I wrote that for some reason :P

Makes sense why I didn't post that one originally then - it's 10% lower than I said.
