Reaper Life enters the teen levels with a triple hitter of R9's. Some of our highest skull quests came at this level range because Gianthold quests seem to be a little easier than others by about 1 skull, with the exception of Foundation of Discord, which has an end fight that can be extremely challenging. Up to this point, none of our R9 videos are pretty. They capture us exploring our limits in reaper mode and we had a lot of fun pushing ourselves to the edge!
Maze of Madness
All 3 of the R9's in this update had a rough patch. In Maze of Madness, it was when we got to the other side of the underwater section and we were overcome by the number of mobs and a couple reapers. Other than this point in the quest, I think things go quite well! Check out Episode 12: R9 Maze of Madness to see how we do.
Prison of the Planes
This was a fun challenge. I get owned more times than embarrassment will allow. But what are you going to do when you get double teamed by a pair of R9 carnage reapers and then a pair of R9 plague reapers. I almost survived... does that count? I was happy that I was able to stand up against the marut on R9. The big challenge for us was the end fight. Reapers can spawn with every wave, and we get overcome by a quartet of these jerks. And then we have to figure out how to finish when the end fight resets and the reapers persist, hovering over our soul stones like war trophies. See how it ends in Episode 13: R9 Prison of the Planes!
Flesh Maker's Laboratory
I think we performed best in this one compared to the others in this update. Our struggle here was getting through the lightning halls, which are extremely deadly on R9! Watch all the laughter and tears below in Episode 14: R9 Flesh Maker's Laboratory...
Thanks again to channel viewer Wyvernjack96 on Youtube for keeping a fun running tally of our death counts for each episode! Here are the totals for the series so far...
- Littlemama: 47
- Inamorata: 36
- Me: 31
- Jimmy: 27
- Nimvind: 23
- Cyax: 23
- TOTAL: 187
Thank you to all the series viewers for the great comments and laughs. The Reaper Life crew is having a lot of fun with all the comments and we appreciate the support and hearing about how the series has inspired you to challenge yourselves further in reaper mode
