I'd consider 6 Ranger over 6 Fighter. 6 Ranger provides some feats you'd want anyways making the feat loss minimal, 2 useful spells (camouflage to boost Scion of Ethereal and +20 to Jump), and more importanly it gives access to Deepwood Stalker. DWS increases SA and Point Blank range, access to Sniper Shot which is a hard hitting move that qualifies you for SA, as well as more SA. Unfortunately fitting Merciful Shot is tough.

    Core AP spends:
24 into Battle Engineer for Endless Fusilade
11 into Deepwood Stalker for Sniper Shot
34 into Mechanic for Sniper and Mechanical Reloader

That leaves 11 AP, which you could either:
11 AP into Assassin for Assassin's Trick and 2d6 SA
11 more into DWS for Merciful Shot
3 into Harper for INT to Hit; 6 into Mechanic for Doubleshot, Damage, and Time Bomb for AOE knockdown (always wear a Disable Device item for this DC, which you should have for other useful CC traps you craft anyways); 1 into BE for Shatter Defense; 1 wherever

Personally if you don't dump Dex, I'd go for Assassin's trick for the greater SA and getting SA on more targets. If you do dump it, I'd take the last option for the to-hit and DPS.

    A few important notes:
    - Mechanical Reloader does not stack with Haste or Blinding Speed, making that a waste of a feat unless you're not taking T5 Mechanic (which would be silly not to do)
    - Reload speed has a cap, and after feats and Mechanic Reloader, you're close to that cap. That means Haste Boost adds less than 10% attack speed (in my testing I do ~80 shots per minute without Haste Boost, and ~88 per minute with). You're better off with a damage boost, which you can take from DWS.
    - Investing into a Draconic Reinvigoration TF xBow means you be able to recover action boosts. Pop it out once every two minutes until you get a trigger and then pop back to your main weapon (or usual cycle if you're better about weapon control). It can easily make up for the extra clicks fighter gave, and keeps working beyond a time where you might have even used 15 clicks.
Pinc Punch - Unarmed Monk (Uber Completionist) // Porc the Orc - Paladin // Thunderborn - Warlock // Imustbe Emo - PewPew Rogue // Aquamine Artifact - Crafting Artificer (shelved)

Fighter is only a two feat gain over Ranger, as I mentioned Haste Boost is weak on Mechanic's Repeater as they already get most of their possible attack speed as base, and there are ways around action boost limitations. Ranger is stronger in pretty much every way over fighter. But then meta gaming means little - if you enjoy the extra Fusilade clicks and it fits better into how you want to play, more power to you. I've played a pure Monk through all of its ups and downs even though I knew of many splits over the years that would be stronger than a Pure in all aspects because that's how I wanted to play.

@Hobgoblin - Your common splits are:
    - Pure Rogue: Gets capstone that give 2d6 SA, +3 damage, and an endless heal/stat potion. While far better than old capstones, it's not build defining, so can afford to be lost.
    - 1/2 Arty splash: 1 arty gives Rapid Shot for free freeing up a feat slot as well as giving infinite ammo due to Conjure Bolts. 2 arty gives Rune Arm use, which provides the utility gains of Rune Arms. Arty and Rune arms do not really make up for the SA die losses from Rogue level 19 and capstone, but IMO the utility gain is greater than what is provided by the capstone, so is worth it.
    - 16 Rogue / 4 Arty: This is to provide Endless Fusilade. This being a win or loss really depends on how much you can keep Fusilade up as you're giving up +2 crit damage multiplier from Rogue 18 core, as well as the SA damage + Killer that you can no longer afford from Assassin.

There are, of course, millions of other options that you can theory craft. Ranger's Deepwood Stalker ties in well, Pally can give Holy Sword and a bunch of saves and heals, etc. The power of T5 Mechanic is truly what defines GxBow use, which only takes 5 Rogue. 6 Rogue provides cheap Int to Damage, but that can be covered by Harper tree or Arty buff if your level split doesn't allow.

Though the concept of a build that can keep up Fusilade may be the cake winner for Reaper mode. Due to the serious damage scaling, being able to better spam the knockdowns as well as paralyze/vorpal/etc procs could be a nice combo.

Here is some of my data with reloader and haste and haste boost from a previous thread ...

Here are my recent tests for ranged alacrity with a GXB and Pure rogue. I do have the feats Rapid shot and Rapid Reload and am at level 30.

Shots/1min (margin of error is +/- 1 shot)

    w/o reloader: 68

    w/o reloader: 70
    - w/ haste

    w/o reloader: 71
    - w/ 10% alacrity item

    w/reloader: 77

    w/reloader: 80
    - w/ haste

    w/reloader: 80
    - w/ haste and tensors

    w/reloader: 87
    - w/ haste boost (timed over 20 seconds and extrapolated to 1 minute)

    w/reloader: 90 (93)
    - w/ haste boost and haste (timed over 20 seconds (thus 30 vs 31 shots) and extrapolated to 1 minute)

So I thought during the redo of xbow mechanics, they made the reload and fire similar to bows so that it was one fluid action rather than having 2 actions, one for reload and one for firing thus ranged alacrity was to be more justified with crossbows like bows were. With that in mind ...

Reloader granted a 13% increase in GXB attack speed. (10% alacrity item granted about 4% which seems consistent with 30% granting ~13% due to margin of error)
Haste granted a 4% increase in speed regardless of reloader or haste boost.
Increasing BAB to 1* did not increase attack speed.
Haste boost granted a 13% increase in attack speed. (I guess this makes sense since Haste Boost I had was 30% and Reloader grants 30% alacrity. So it appears consistent.)

Best combination was Haste boost, haste, and reloader which granted a 21% increase in attack speed vs reloader alone and a 37% increase in attack speed vs no reloader or haste boost or haste.

That +/- 1 shot becomes +/- 3 when you multiply your 20 second test into one minute - I used on cooldown, and interestingly Haste Boost does not seem to interrupt your attack cycle. I tested with Haste buff with and without Haste Boost, and I noticed no difference with Haste Buff on both counts. Other tests I found came to the same conclusion. Though admittedly only did 3 tests each with haste buff, w/o haste buff, boost w, and boost w/o. Not something I would call scientifically significant, but interesting you came to a different conclusion. While I would like to see more tests with Haste, that does not change the fact that a 30 RP boost would be superior to Haste Boost for DPS (unless you're going back to relying on procs).
