    Same here, EU player.
I have 2 x SSD in RAID 0, so i guess writing / reading speed is not an issue.
Interestingly enough, the whole game downloaded in about 30 minutes for me via launcher, so it's not a bandwith issue either.

How do you do that? I am a computer noob, I have no idea of what are you talking about... do you have a link or something that explains a step-by-step on how to do that?

    Thanks

On desktop create new txt file and write in:

    cd /
    cd "C:\ProgramData\Turbine\DDO Unlimited"
    start TurbineLauncher.exe -skiprawdownload -nosplash

adjust path (2nd row) if needed

    save and rename as DDO.bat

    doubleclick on DDO.bat file

This works for me, but still dunno how to run it with preloader (yes i got slow PC and slow connection too), someone got a solution?
Leamos --> Completionist + Epic Completionist

Arena PVP matchs are the only real end-game... still waiting that community will understand and let turbine to implement it.

Yeah, replace TurbineLauncher with DNDLauncher. The other exe is now used.

Awesome !!! I was having same problems after update 40... 2 minutes to load those darn loading screens in every language never used... (dunno why they take so long either, as I have a 8 Mb bandwidth)

Renaming the shortcut to point to DNDLauncher instead of turbinelauncher did the trick and allowed use of the -skiprawdownload flag.

Thanks, you have my upmost gratitude.

I dont know why but under Linux with Wine64 it downloads these splash screens very fast. It may be something DNS related or IPv6 related - if you do not have IPv6 gateway it should take time sent packets to expire and then downgrade to IPv4. Not sure about .. just a suggestion.
