Default Building a Ravenloft Cleric one Reaper at a Time

Clerics have always been one of my favorite classes in D&D, the first character I made in this game was a cleric though I quickly abandoned him because I did really like how they played. In the 'other' online D&D game I like my cleric, it feels like a D&D character should but I never got that feeling here. I have heard that the are going introduce changes and updates to the Cleric class though and with that in mind I am considering gearing/building up a Cleric for the undead heavy Ravenloft expansion. With that in mind I'd like to go through 3 Cleric heroic lives to A) get the cleric past lives for turning undead and B) get used to playing several different cleric styles to determine what will suit me best. As such I am looking for recommendations of 3 different styles of clerics to play in heroic low end reaper content. I'm not really interested in doing a clonk or a THF cleric, I've read over those builds which are extensively covered in this section and they aren't for me. What I'm thinking is...

    1) Casting based Cleric
    2) Fighter or Bard hybrid
    3) Archer style Clerics

Is anyone playing one of these types which they would advise for my above stated goal?

If you are looking for a casting based cleric then look no further then:

Axel's build works well and you can modify his build with no paladin and just say 2 fighter levels for melee feats but you would need to spread it out for feat requirements.

I've never done a para cleric although I have done a cleric/rogue gxbow that was ok. If you went para cleric you would need to go elf or another race and split cleric and ranger.

You can look at my paralyzer cleric
Priest of the silver flame, in cleric

Not really an heroic build, more epic
Since you dont have ap for aura until 20
    But it's good template
And will do fine in heroics just with burst

For caster I'd go 20 pure
    For fighter 14/6
    Kil Glory
    30 alchemist
    HOW
    Sarlona

Seems a good place to start with a caster cleric. I have a character who already has 3 wiz and 3 sorc PLs so I can pretty much skip the spell penetration feat and go right to evocation or necromancy. Probably evocation with the Sorc past lives.

I've been doing racial PLs as a caster Cleric. I mostly don't even bother with Spell Focus in heroics; DC requirements aren't too bad, gear is OP, and spell DPS is more useful in the mid-Heroic levels, e.g., Holy Smite, Blade Barrier, Divine Punishment, so I'm taking things like Maximize. My DC spells still land fine without Spell Focus. This is just for quick 1-18 and TR, though; if I were going to play in Epics, I'd be focusing more DCs and less on DPS.
