Default Back from leave on U17, need advice on monkcher

The character was built on U17 with 12monk 6ranger 2arti. I am willing to take +20 wood to rework it for doing something in current meta.

In this build I want to use monk and 10kstar for bow.
The focus might not be heavy damage, but instead on procs. So I would aim the following (ordered on importance):
    10kstar
    Manyshot
    Improved Precise Shot
    Max wisdom

And would like you to double check which part i can improve the build. Would it without good dps be too gimp?
You may assume i have all epic destinies max out since i farmed rusted blade when there was no ransack system. I only missed divine crusader but guess it is not difficult to level up.

First off, welcome back to the game ! :-)

Next, you might need to help us out with a little bit more detail on what it is you're trying to accomplish here.

Are you wanting to be a full time archer, or are you planning on mixing it up with ranged and melee ? Is that why you've got things in there like Stunning Fist, Deft Strikes and Smite Tainted Creature ?

IMHO you don't really have enough feats or AP's invested in the melee side of things to get a very satisfactory result. If you wanted to be able to switch between the two like that, I'd probably suggest keeping the 6 ranger levels you already have. At least that way you'll have some of the TWF feats. To be honest, unless you're really committed to the idea of a hybrid ranged / melee build, I'd recommend doing one or the other. Doing either you can do very well, but I honestly think you'll be disappointed by the performance of a hybrid.

Then, let's talk about some of the trees you'll want to invest AP's into.

Ninja Spy: As a wis/dex build you'll want to pick up the first 2 cores (L1 & L3) in Ninja Spy to give you Dex to hit and damage with any centered weapons (damage with bows and both attack and damage with wraps if you want to do some melee). If you're planning on spending any amount of time in melee, and you're already putting 6 points here, consider putting 5 more points in for the 3rd core (L6) as the at-will invis and 25% incorp is very handy, and you can pick up some Sneak Attack dice and/or Dodge while you do it. If you're not going to melee, just pick up the first 2 cores (6 pts).

Henshin Mystic: If you're planning on doing any melee, 1 pt here is the cheapest 10 Melee Power you'll ever get (Melee Power and Ranged Power are the new physical analogues of spellpower, and boost your damage output just the same way). In fact, if you're going to do that, I'd strongly recommend putting 11 pts here, and getting 30 MP, and Contemplation for the passive ki regen. You need +2 passive ki regen to be able to use TTS on cd, and you get 1 from running in Ocean Stance from L12 onwards, so you need another. The main two ways of getting that is either Contemplation here, or twisting in Enlightenment from Tier 1 GMoF, so your call as to which you do. If you're going to be pure archer, go with Enlightenment and skip Henshin.

Shintao: If you are going to put any points in Shintao at all, then pick up Iron Skin. It was changed in the monk pass to no longer require Mountain Stance, and is the easiest 20 PRR for you to get as a pure monk. I also wouldn't bother picking up any of the extra strikes in Shintao. Dismissing Strike you already have a ranged version in Banishing Arrows, and I just don't think you'll get much benefit from Smite Tainted Creature.

Lastly, for ED's, the generally accepted wisdom is either Legendary Dreadnought for sustained damage or Fury of the Wild for burst damage (this was revised by devs recently to be declared now WAI for ranged builds). My personal preference is Fury, and you may hear the term "Furyshot" which means to activate Manyshot and Unbridled Fury at the same time (preferably also with a damage Action Boost too) for amazing bursts of damage into the many thousands.

As a general rule, for soley ranged monkchers, 14 monk / 6 ranger, pure 20 monk, and 6 monk / 6 ranger / 8 fighter are all very strong combos. I'd be happy to post you a build of any or all of these if you like.

Let us know which way you're looking to go and we can help you further.

Just a quick note here as I found this out yesterday and it helped me out a bunch. If you're only investing in Ninja Spy for the dex to hit & damage and are already investing in the Ranger Deepwood stalker tree then get the first core of Ninja spy and improved weapon finesse from deepwood stalker.
Improved weapon finesse doesn't require the weapon finesse feat and gives you dex to damage on any weapon you get dex to hit to.
I did this on my build and it freed up 5AP which were very useful elsewhere.

Yes which works if he keeps the ranger levels but his posted build is pure monk which means no access to DWS tree. He's getting Arcane Archer from Half-Elf.

Thanks for the lot of information.

The only reason i picked some melee feat and enhancement is because i think it could do something with maximized wisdom as if a DC caster does. I'm ok with both pure bow / hybrid if it works well, my current 12mnk/6rgr/2arti took GTWF and IPS and is as u said not quite well in doing both.

The reason of attempting monk20 is because i think it should boost a lot on 10kstar.
