    Put your skill points into Spellcraft (or Heal Skill for Coccoon, MCMW, Renew etc in Epics) instead of jump. Your jump spell gives +30 and the skill itself is capped @ 40.

    You should be able to easily get your jump to 10 without putting any skill points into it. With a starting Int of 14 with a +6 tome you should have plenty of skill points to put into QoL stuff like Spot or Search etc etc.

    Unless you want to offset the jump penalty while sneaking I suppose.

    Just took staunch, stunning blast and confusion
    Some cc and emergency hp

    Still running in wondrous robes
    Got some decent lvl 5 gear
    Get some better at 7
    May craft slavers
    I did pull a reaper trinket
    Will def be using that

    But mostly just blasting away
    Can solo r1 elite is more dangerous since I have as half much hp
    Had 250 at 4
    And I've seen bigger monsters
    Haven't played a casting warlock before

    Lots of change up leveling this build
    Mostly ts, but into SE for cone, and es for light
    Utter dark of course makes everything evil
    Waited til 13 to put on good gear, tho I did craft a bit at 7
    No insightful, so randgen is just as good
    And still found no need for slavers, marginal gains
    Except the trinket. I used it always, and is swap for true sight
    Going full necro on this build,
    Feats were enlarge, heighten and necro
    For bumping up the SLAs, like confusion and mass c.
    But really everything just melts in a wave in front of you
    It's like having a. Scythe, and just reaping the mobs
    Overwhelming dps for level
    I can see why this has been the thourobred for the last 2 years
    It's impressive in array of abilities, but they are overshadowed by pure damage dealing with blast

    I can agree the nerf is necessary
    But I think 50% is too much
    This is the easy button after all,

    Just rolled 20 and 21,
    So this is a last snapshot of heroic reaper
    Because I won't see much reaper in epic
    Just put on 4 pieces of cc, that's decent increase,
    But my hp is still under 600.
    But it looks like my dps is holding up
    Took epic blast at 21.
    Maybe will switch more to a single tgt playstyle,
    Even though I have great aoe with breath and burst
    Also have vortex and howl and terror
    And about 1600 sp, so enough to cast with
    Cone as last resort for free dps
    Went 41 in tainted. Went 20 in soul eater because I wanted to try steal life force. Also +1 DCs.
    Put on a cha 10/4 item so 8 higher. Brought cha almost to 60.
    Have better mrr than prr with mysterious cloak.
    But got spell crit multiplier to 60. Think that's maxxed.
    Something else I noticed. Energy criticals doesn't show as working. But if you place doubleshot, from primal, and activate it, then you see spell crit go up. They both have to be on, and then you get a double bonus. You get 9% from doubleshot added. I saw my base 5 crit go up to 20 when I enabled them both. I think this is getting fixed next patch.

    Crafted new gloves. Max rad and hamp. Figured for a ring too, but it's not worth it. The orb is bis until I get the legendary, which I have stashed. May have to make some necro goggles at 30, will have to check.
    Wanted to maybe move ap around to 22 es for medium armor. ?*That is more likely at 29
    I'll see how life drain works.
    But other than low hp, it a loaded caster.
    Lots of death.
    It may take me a couple epic lives to test it out.
    As a caveat, I took create undead. It's my comedian coming out.

    Nothing really changed
    Basically two modes
    Caster and blaster
    Fod and hurl used regularly
    But mostly wave aoe blasting
    Moved ap around, back to db
    The life drain wasn't getting used
    Now I got an extra breath
    Burst, vortex, and a couple I don't use
    Still haven't used staunch
    Though it's emergency on hotbar
    Basically just need a lot of time in the saddle on this build
    It is very deep in abilities
    But it plays like a glass cannon
    Creeping toward 700 hp
    And reaper ain't much better
    Took insight at 24
    It does crank DCs by 6
    Hurl is like 10 pts higher than fod
    52/63?
    It's not very high yet
    Looking at where I can slot insightful charisma
    May have to make a cloak
    Should get to 70
    Otherwise 26 is moar dps
    And then gravy train to 30
    Has good sp, 2000
    So I'll be able to cast ruins
    Need to slot force too, hmmm
    And then there's enchant for the mass hold
    Havent tried that mode
    Will more likely with slavers
    I think I got extra +5/+3 enchant goggles
    Not stealing the good ones from vish
    Playing EE and some reaper so far
    Pretty squish
    But great sustained dps

    Seems to be a 10k build
    But its got better utility in its spells

    High Umd for Rez and heal

    Crowd control
    Defenses
    Superior offenses

    I think I will be happy to be about 30 when 36 drops

    Ok made it to 1000 hp
    Seems as long as I run slavers gear and 14 con, I always make it to 1k.
    Just made it to 30
    Took sp light at 26, wellspring at 27
    Wellspring is a 150 boost to sp. so it's a great add on bosses or to quick take down mobs. I thought it better than ruin.
    28 hellball. Haven't used this yet. Another in the arsenal.
    29 can't remember. It wasn't a 29., I'll have to check.
    30 fire, and ruin.
    Crafted a few items.
    A pair if gloves with force on them for ruin, and hamp and insight rad for the light.
    Also a ring with rad lore 23 on it.
    And a cloak with insight cha7 on it. So max cha at 77. +1 in reaper. Wanted to add 15 dodge and 15 int, but didn't have the comps. Ah didn't have them either. Looks like I'll be farming.
    Another item, I pulled a dagger, with insight sight force and combust lore would be next. Normally I run with a heal scroll in off hand, but I could make up a set with the dagger in it.
    Then I'd be just about maxxed.
    On the spell DCs. They seem to be low. Don't know how to get them into the 80s? I've got maxxed gear and feats, not much room for improvement. Haven't looked for enchant goggles yet, want to do a slavers run and test mass hold.
    But really, this is a glass cannon. Decent defenses, with leathers and the belt I have 19 dodge. Low AC, but displace and blur on. So I seem to be pretty layered, but really, the upside of the blaster part of this build is mass dps. And that offense trumps defense. I thought of going 22 in es for medium armor, but the gains are marginal. And I lose the dodge. So I'll stay light.
    So there is the blaster, pretty good with light bursting to 800 sp. I see odd damages. Like 300,600,1500. And it's all over the place. I guess crit will be up now some 8%, and mult up 25 to 85, so that's almost double damage. It usually kills fast when blasting. Passes the 10k test. And with wave, it's like cone and cleave together. That's cranked another 30% too. So it's mega damage. But again, just don't get hit. Not really that bad, but that's general strategy.
    I went with a boundless since it complemented better than a hardened hide. Didn't need the defenses but the boundless has wizardry and potency and is a mythic. Slotted a power200 and my sp pool is at 2500. I thought of a hypnotic pendant, putting the slaver neck in the belt, but I lose the rope and the dodge. Wouldn't be a prob if I get the cloak slotted. Will see how that works out.

    Then there's the caster side of this beast.
    I have a burst, 2 breaths, vortex, hellball aoe,ruin single tgt and a couple aoe fod attacks. Too much to actually use. But presents a lot if options going through a quest.
    Most of the time I throw a burst in, sometimes I do a breath or two. When fighting a roomful I turn on vortex, that lasts 45sec. I haven't tried hellball much, and I rarelyused howl or wail. But I just need time to practice with the spell casting side, and see if it's very effective. I'll prob start running reaper slavers for farm until 36 comes out, sometime this week?
    The fod and hurl are great single tgt. For like archers, haven't seen the fod bee all that effective, I try it first, and if it fails, I use hurl. That generally works. But it's been fun figuring out what does and doesn't work. Learning to be a necro caster. I had it on my plate to do some time.

    But I mean let's talk.
    Really.
    This thing is so loaded I have too many options. They do all seem to accentuate blaster casting. But I've thought about running in exalted angel, and throwing down wraths. But I'd lose the burst and breath, and that's pretty thematic to a dragon. But I'll probably play it out some and see how it works. Also dc for a consecration and the 50usp boost. I'll try them out and report back.

    But like I've said I'll stay here for update 36. And farm out some gear, and stay at 30, and do some reaper.
    This has been my epic completionist journey. About 17 lives. Had stayed away from arcane since I hadn't run any casters yet. Still want to do a db elec sorc to epic. I stayed a long while in monk, getting a lot of martial lives. And generally picked them up one per heroic life. But I've been on a tear on heroic lives lately, and normally would have gotten here sooner, as I did have a plan, but it worked out fine as is. I've still got 2 more heroic for completionist. A Druid archer and a pallylock soul. Then I'll be double completionist, and can reconsider the playing field.
    Most likely 3 human racials and then back to henshin.

    Yet Kil is my build platform. My flavor of the month. So I wouldnt be surprised he becomes a cleric again after the pass. Maybe for a human racial. But he took his last name when he became a monk, so eventually that's where I'll reside.
