Default Paladin DPS \ Endgame utility

    Hi all,
I'm a returning player away from DDO for 3 years. I'm planning (almost to the end for completionist eroic) to build a Pala. My first main char was a barbarian, I love melee DPS, and I like to play just melees.
I'm not planning to try end game soon, I want to concentrate myself to completionist first, so just the community can help me to the final (maybe) life.
How is Pala DPS/Survivability/Utility in end game? Is a good choise? I like THF melee char and this will be my final char I hope (dont like so much Monk and Fighter) so I'm trying to choose between Pala and Barb.
Ty all for helping and sorry for my poor English

hehe that's funny, because minutes ago I answered to another paladin topic, so to save me the typing here you go: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...DK-Pally-build

Paladin DPS is good, but there are better melee-dps builds. You will not be discriminated for playing a paladin so don't worry.
Survivability is one of the best for melee-dps builds, with nice self heals.
Ultility is average, mostly a few stuns and trips for CC, dps of course and sometimes the ability to tank if you have the gear for it and can swap on the fly.

Barbarians have higher dps, are easier to play and build, but can be very annoying to play for experienced players, because of their Rage system.
Rage->dismiss, use clicky/scroll/w/e, rage->dismiss, gets on your nerves.

Oh and make sure to speak with someone from GODS on Cannith. A lot of Ordo people moved to GODS along with other Italians and other players.
