    Default Build 1.0.0.124 Now Available

    Lots of fixes in this one, several reports and a review of Strimtom's build review videos picked up a lot of minor-ish issues raised as he used the builder in Anger.
    Use it more Strimtom, then there will be less bugs!

    Fix: "Aasimar Scourge: Strike Down the Dead" description updated (Prompted by Strimtom build review 12 comment)
    Fix: Moving a floating window will now update the tooltip hook positions (seen in a Strimtom build review)
    ---This may affect the odd lockups that he sees also, but I have been unable to reproduce those.
    Fix: "Van Richten's Legendary Cane" now has the correct damage dice of 1d6+2 (Prompted by Strimtom build review 10 comment)
    Fix: Training a Twist of Fate such as "Martial Hymn" will now correctly apply the stance (Prompted by Strimtom build review)
    ---Note this also fixes a crash that clearing a twist of fate would cause
    ---Twists now also apply their stances on file load
    Fix: "Displacement" from Self and Party buffs is now correctly an enhancement bonus and does no longer stack with the spell (Prompted by Strimtom build review)
    New: Thieves tools are now available in the Self and Party buffs list
    Fix: Feats which are auto moved on class changes will now no longer apply their effects multiple times (Prompted by Strimtom build review - multiple warlock pact spells)
    New: Effects for True Seeing and Ghost Touch were added. All items/enhancements/spells/augments etc updated
    ---Breakdowns for Ghost Touch and True seeing added to weapon breakdowns
    ---Weapon export for forum export lists whether Incorpreality and Concealment are bypassed
    Fix: Feat "Composite Plating" now has its missing +2 AC armor bonus

    Fixes and some new development to allow a custom Ignore Feat list to be generated.

    Fix: Item "Esper, the Shadowblade" no longer has an incorrectly sized vector and causes the software to close when selected (Prompted by Strimtom build review)
    Fix: Item "Epic Dice" no longer has an incorrectly sized vector and causes the software to close when selected (Reported by F4nelia)
    ---Same issue in Epic Sapphire Sting item also fixed
    New: All "Dice" objects in loaded effects are now verified on load (in debug mode - no effect in release)
    New: You can now create and maintain a feat "Ignore list" by right clicking a feat during feat selection to make sure it will not be shown again
    ---There is a menu and toolbar option to force these feats to be shown, a right click on a feat in the list will then remove it from the ignore list
    Fix: Item "The Bitter Blade" now correctly has a "Purple" augment slot, not an "Orange" augment slot. (Prompted by Strimtom build review)

    Hi Ordinary. Thanks again for your sterling efforts.

    One thing I noticed is that my Barb at 30 is showing 20BAB.

    I think the should be 25 ( rising to 30 with Tensers), and that the 5 difference may be due to the 0.5 per epic level not being captured?

    Looks like I missed the effects associated with the Epic levels to award BAB at odd epic levels.

    Default Reporting A Few Bugs in Build 1.0.0.126

    Hi Ordinary,

    First, I would like to thank you for your continued development of this brilliant tool, it is greatly appreciated.

    I have recently noticed the following issues:


    1. Fatesinger: Primal Hymn - This does not appear in the list of User Stances when points are allocated to it, either when Fatesinger is selected as the Active Destiny or the ability is used as a Twist of Fate. Furthermore, when this ability is selected from the Self and Party Buffs Window, the strength portion does not apply even when toggling on the Rage Stance, as the entry within the SelfandPartyBuffs file has a typo within the effects section with <Stance>Raged</Stance> instead of <Stance>Rage</Stance>. This typo is also present in the Enhancements file.
    2. Drow Sage's Cowl Item - There are two versions of this item in DDO, one that is Minimum Level 14 and one that is Minimum Level 29. Currently, only the Minimum Level 29 item is included within the planner, however, it is named Drow Sage's Cowl instead of Legendary Drow Sage's Cowl.
    3. Through the Mists Filigree's - Adding any of these to a Sentient Jewel causes the planner to crash.

    I have a question for Improved sneak attack. I was messing around with your planner tweaking my build I ran into a problem with getting Epic improved sneak attack dice that add +3d6 dice.

    I was having issues getting it to show up at level 24. Too see if there was something wrong with what I was doing, I made a new profile , A Human r rogue level 30. The only state that matters is the dex. If you start with a base Dexterity of 8 , Supreme ability +8 tome, competitionist +2, Shifter x2, Hafling x2, Elf x2 = 3 more dex. 8+8+2+1+1+1 = 21 exactly. That should qualify to take Improved sneak attack at level 24 ( you wouldnt be able to at 21 because you dont get your last point from supreme time until level 22.

    I dont understand why you cant take improved sneak attack on your planner. The ability breakdown says his dex is 21 .. So what I started to do was keep adding a point to the base dex until improved sneak attack showed up. It wasnt until my base dex was 13 ...my total dex is 26 .. I had to add 5 points of dex to get it to show up.. That doesnt seem right. Is it your planner ? I should be getting the choice to pick it at level 24 . having a 21 dex naked.

    Feat pre-reqs require your base stat + tomes + level ups.

    Nothing else will add to your score to meet them hence why you are finding that you need what appears to be more Dex than you think you need but as I said it's because things like Completionist etc do not add to your Dex for the purpose of feat pre-reqs.

    I am able to select this in my local build. This may be due to a new feature that has been recently added. The ability to add feats to your "Ignore" list. If you did this accidentally, then it will no longer be listed. You can toggle the display of "ignored" feats using the button to the right of the red circle in the toolbar. Does toggling this allow it to be listed again?

    Let me check. was still using .124 build , ill update it

    OK i downloaded .126 build .. I saved the test character , he had a 24 dex.. base 10, +8 tome , +3 from racials ... I still could not pick imp sneak attack.. So i had to jack up the dex to 13 for imp sneak attack to be selectable at 24 ... I added pictures to demonstrate.

    So i am guessing inherit racial past lives that give the +3 dex does not count toward anything

    So that explains it.. ok it seems a bit weird they did it like that, but it was probably a coding nightmare, and game balance issue for them to let racial past lives contribute to requirement.
    No matter what , you will need the minimum of a 13 dexterity to get imp sneak at 24 ... 13 base, 8 tome .. Hated having to do that it cuts into my con stat but ill live

    I linked a couple posts above the thread from dev stating that inherit bonus do not count.. like dex from the 3 racial past lives.. halfling, elf, shifter.. .. so 13 is the minimum dex needs to be with + 8 tome needed to get imp sneak at level 24/..

    Mostly fixes in this one, and a minor update to one feat to bring up to date with today's 48.5 patch release.


    Fix: Item "Legendary Duskbone Ring" now has the correct Profane Lifeforce value (Reported in a Strimtom build review)
    Fix: Primal Hymn's +3 bonus to Strength during rage will now work and for Shifter rages (Reported by Kenaustin)
    Fix: Item "Legendary Drow Sage's Cowl" now has the correct name (Reported by Kenaustin)
    Fix: Filigree set bonus "Through the Mists" will no longer crash the software when selected (Reported by Kenaustin)
    Fix: The Feat and Class control will now update the ability values total on ability point spend and tome/race changes
    Fix: Missing set bonus "Conduit of the Titans" added
    Fix: Item "Titan Control Matrix" has its missing set bonus and can now be upgraded (Reported by InfraRiot)

    Default Bugs in Build 1.0.0.127

    Unfortunately, Fatesinger: Primal Hymn is still bugged as follows:


    1. It shows as Martial Hymn in User Stances, however, it cannot be toggled on.
    2. The +3 bonus to strength is being applied despite the issue in point 1.


    I have resolved these issues by editing the Enhancements file and changing the following under the <Stance> section of Fatesinger: Primal Hymn:


    1. <Name>Martial Hymn</Name> to <Name>Primal Hymn</Name>
    2. <Icon>MartialHymn</Icon> to <Icon>PrimalHymn</Icon>


    I have also noticed the following typos:


    1. SetBonuses file under <SetBonus> <Name>Eminence of Winter</Name> change 3: +15 Artifact bonus to Healing, Repair, and Neagtive Amplification to 3: +15 Artifact bonus to Healing, Repair, and Negative Amplification.
    2. Item file Necklace_LegendaryDawnsHeraldCharm.item change <EffectDescription>Insightfull Faith: An item with this quality assists only wearers who have the ability to turn undead. Insightful Faith items increase the owner's effective level for the turning check by +2, their maximum Hit Dice turned by +2 and their total Hit Dice turned by +4.</EffectDescription> to <EffectDescription>Insightful Faith: An item with this quality assists only wearers who have the ability to turn undead.
