    Default How About "Fixing/Updating" Eschew Materials?

    I may be the only one who uses Eschew Materials, but it needs to be updated. It is supposed to eliminate the requirement for spell components on all spells that use normal materials, but there are several 'newer' spells that it does not work on (not including the 'special' spells, like "Stoneskin"). One specific example is the arti spell "Lucky Cape".

    Personally, I'd love to have it work on *all* spells that require spell materials of any kind, including "Stoneskin" (it is a FEAT after all...) , but as long as it gets updated - and stays updated when new spells are added - for the non-special spells requiring materials, that would be awesome.

    Obviously, it most likely would not be in the next update, but maybe the update following? Pretty please? With sugar? And strawberries?

    1. remove the stacking limit on Silverflame pots
    2. fix the deteriorating ransack xp for quest optionals
    3. figure out a way to let us view armor appearance kits in the store before purchasing them

    It would be nice if The Silver Flame would decide to make the bolt versions of the two arrows they sell.

    This may be WAI, but it sure is annoying:

    If you run a Cannith challenge 5 levels above your level, the supply chests you receive from the bosses are 1 level above yours. You cannot open them (at least, not for a while), and they cannot be placed into bank. So I am stuck with an unusable spot in my inventory until I level.

    I can understand supply chests being un-bankable (that would probably lead to various undesirable side effects), but why give them minimum level at all?

    Saw at least one of these mentioned but lots of useless quest items that don't drop on exit:
    Notes in rainbow, book from delera2, phylactery from spire of validus, necro crypt books, aspect crystal and setting from DD chain, more? I'm sure.

    having the aspect crystal in inventory lets you do dreaming dark without running either giant's vault or the mine quest again if memory serves.

    Really? I never saved it from life to the next. Though it would make sense since it's two options for flagging so can't be a simple quest completion.

    Encountered a voice over and DM narration text issue in Sykros's Jewel (on Ataraxia's Haven) toward's the end of the quest when first encountering the duergar in the hallway after the shrine, the voice over and the on-screen DM narration text says that Deluge prepares to strike. Deluge is an orange-named spider that the players have not encountered yet because they need to fight past the duergar and use a switch to open a door and then drop down a pit... to meet the spider. That's a pretty long time between hearing and seeing that bit of narration and actually encountering the spider.

    Would it be possible to be able to "Name" crafted items? I don't know how many I tossed, and after TR, did a ~facepalm~

    Another "suggestion, not a fix". Assuming that it isn't possible to change Restless Isles to a raid wilderness zone, could we at least have a teleporter (preferably one of the existing NPCs rather than a new one) on the initial island by the airship, please? Even if it's one that only works after you've found your way to the raid entrance already, like the teleporter in 3BC.

    This probably wouldn't apply in your case, since I assume there was a big chunk of time between when the item was tossed and when you realized it, but for those that might not know, if you accidentally delete an item, you can purchase many of those items back in the "buy back" tab at most vendors. I know there is a time limit, and I think there is a limit on the number of items that can exist in your "buy back" list, though.

    Hello there,

    1) In Desecrated temple of Vol when disabling the right side spinning traps they keep spinning (but dont to damage). Possible to make them stop spinning?

    2) Since the item update, when we deconstruct items, we dont get gold/plats anymore. When will this get fixed?

    3) in feast or famine I can disable 3 traps than never spring when stepped on to (defective traps??)

    Why would you make it a raid zone?

    First of all, you have two normal quests in that area so it makes no sense to have to go through raid zone to reach them.

    Second, just why? What would be the benefit for that? You would only disable the use of hirelings on that area.


    It would be nice to get one NPC that can take you to raid, just like we have ogre and wildman NPCs that take you to their camps. And he would work only after you finish the raid at least once (just like other two NPCs).

    There are similar traps in Monastery of the Scorpion. In trapped hallways left from the entrance. They look like air fans.

    Making it possible for a raid party to enter the area wouldn't prevent normal parties from entering the area, e.g. House Cannith wilderness areas; people have asked for that to be done to Restless Isles in the past, but there are technical reasons (if memory serves) why it can't be done with that area.     The benefit would be that raid groups could get to the raid without having to Greater Teleport from (usually) Tempest Spine, which I don't think was ever the intended way to get there (although it is a useful workaround).

    Locking items will prevent you from selling or dropping them without a confirmation.
    I lock everything. Armor, weapons, jewelry, potions, scrolls, everything. That way when I go to sell after a run the only things I see in the vendor list are items I picked up on that run.

    I think that list is cleared when you TR. But it's a good tip anyway. Also if you are carrying an exclusive item and you get another while adventuring you can drop the one you're carrying, pick up the new one, and then buyback the one you dropped after parking the new one in the bank.

    You do get plat, but it's no longer with every deconstruct. It's more like a ~25% chance. I've heard people say that if your deconstruct mats are in the crafting storage that you never get any plat, but I haven't tested this.
