That's what it is, the crit threat thingie. You know, it does the threat thing. The thingie.
There are two effects associated with that one ability, one of them is the doubleshot thing that stacks on you, the other is a sticky weapon mutation that is applied when the game detects that you're holding a weapon.

"Have you tried preproccing feat directory?"
You're right, but history shows that a lot of "issues" that have any kind of in-game work-around, no matter how annoying, repetitive, or time consuming it might be tend to be at the very bottom of the dev 'to do' list.
And not showing the detail does remove the behavior of the item pop-up going off the screen. I didn't care for that work-around either at first, but over time I became familiar enough with the effects that I didn't need the detail, and now I don't even use the comparison option at all.

The DM voice when you kill end boss Turun Palo in Rainbow in the Dark is for some other event.
Can you remove the needless spam of gaining and losing buffs from the combat log, because when a person dies they have to scroll all thru the spam of that **** just to see what killed em. Which sometimes takes a bit. Keep it on the general tab itself, not the combat one please.
Tenser's Transformation has been bugged for years.
What happens: When Tenser's Transformation ends - you loose all the abilities you have gained through enhancements.
Fx. My previous character was a wizard, Eldritch Knight. When Tenser's Transformation ended, I lost martial training - meaning -20% to hit with my weapon and slowed.
Only fix was to either keep Tenser's Transformation up at all times or to:
1) Remove all weapons and armour
2) Relog
3) Reequip.
Simply relogging does NOT fix it.
Please see what you can do about this!
~~Ghe~~
OOOH! This reminds me. Ghost of a Chance. It's part of the Three Barrel Cove line. There is one Dungeon Master voice that is VERY different from the others and reads a completely different script then what you see on the screen
The Dungeon Master, who sounds like the Mired In Kobolds DM ( which neither of the dungeon masters in this quest sound like,.proving it is in fact the wrong quest ) says "Chilling air comes rushing out" and speaks of rotting meat... however the message on the screen says "The cave leads into an ancient warehouse. This must be where Marteen's brother is being held Captive". A small fix ( hopefully ).
Also I agree 100% with the people on this thread who say these small fixes ARE important! A lot of people I've invited to the game over the year have seen typos and things like "Kill 3" and splash screens for the wrong zone and gone "Is this a china game? It has that china-imported-to-usa engrish feel" and most have quit >_>
So yeah, I for one love the fact you're going through and fixing the minor things.
If I had a say, i'd say that DDO should have one staff member whose job title is "Fixing The Little Things" and their job is to handle stuff like this.
And while you're looking at that, can we get 1-3 on the ship? Or at the very least a second hireling vendor in the hire near the mailbox in the Harbor where he used to be before moving down to hang out on the docks?
No. What you are doing is important. Don't let ANYONE - and especially not yourself! - tell you otherwise. These types of things makes the game look better, and that is a good thing. It's like reading a self-published/self-edited book. You might enjoy the book, but you keep seeing typos and bad grammar and odd names because the author changed a character's name but didn't catch all of them, etc. What you're doing is making the game look more professional. It's a GOOD thing. It's an IMPORTANT thing. I don't care if they're quick & easy changes, they're still important. They're changes the others haven't been able to make because they haven't been able to carve the time out of their schedules bringing us the next bigger and better thing... but that doesn't make them unimportant.
WHAT YOU ARE DOING MATTERS A LOT, LYNNABEL.
Yay!
This isn't a fix. There are weird effects that I don't know what they are that I want to see. And *most* items are fine. But when you get a lot of add-on effects to weapons, that really bloats it and suddenly I can't see everything to compare which is better when equipped without stopping and going to options and ui settings and trying to find it (although the search made that a lot easier).
Oh gods no, not general. Give "buffs" its own text type separate from the "combat" text type, if anything.
"Ignorance killed the cat, sir; curiosity was framed."Tripoint, C.J. Cherryh
"Fools said I, you do not know. Silence like a cancer grows, hear my words that I might teach you, take my hand that I might reach you, but my words like silent raindrops fell...."-Paul Simon "Day after day, we caught no breath or motion. As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean."--Coleridge
First of, gratz on joining the team full time.
Thank you for engaging the community. I know it's unrealistic to think that you can just magically step in and solve any problem, but I think the interaction with the community really goes a long way to put people at ease. Keep it up as much as you can!
My request - any chance of fixing Celestia? The biggest problem is any additions to weapon enhancement seem to break the DR bypass quality of the weapon by adding a damage type other than light. The second problem is the main portion of damage, even when it is light, not getting amped by things like shield of condemnation. Third, Greater Sunburst seems to get "turned off" when in undead form.
Note: I tested all of the above long ago when I had dreams of a dual celestia wielder. The Wiki still indicates the first two to be the case but lists test dates from long ago (it doesn't list the third at all).
Bug template! QA is here for you.
How random DD is
how to handle this random, anywhere
Sarlona: Seikojin, Toy
Fighter's Kensei 4th core power surge ability is currently not getting charges back with thunderforged tier 3' draconic reinvigoration (2% chance to regen action boost) while other things like haste boost and melee power boost are. Power surge is an action boost, no?
Here's another one for the "crit threat thingie": kensei tier 5 keen edge doesn't increase crit range for wraps or unarmed if you have the martial arts focus, which explicitly includes wraps and unarmed combat, and even though other kensei "weapon" buffs work for those. See my recent post here asking if anyone else had noticed this, since I couldn't find anything about it in the official issues list, wiki, forums, or in-game tool tips:

Thanks, great thread!
If only there were some way (that was not the equivalent of dropping a penny in
a well and making a wish) we could submit detailed descriptions of bugs in
the game. These could then be triaged, assigned resource (or held over) and
fixed. No, a thread on a public forum is definitely better...
They do.

A couple things to note:
The bug list for DDO is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to the DDO bug list.
Lynn has fresh eyes on the back end and isn't qualified enough to develop new content so they put her on the stuff that actually matters for long term player retention and customer satisfaction. This has been generally regarded as a great move by the playerbase so far.
This means that all the small stuff is actually getting attention and that's great. It's what we've been asking for for like...2 years now instead of new content shoveling out new bugs every module.
In addition, Lynn is amazingly annoying and the best way to get rid of her is to help her out so when she starts to pester Steel or Koko or any of the people who actually know what they are doing, we even get some fixes for the 'bigger' bugs.
That last part is conjecture but I'm willing to bet I'm not far off the mark on that one.
