    Default Upgrading Crafted Item

If I have crafted an item and want to upgrade the item; do I have to disjunct and start all over or can you just craft a new higher min level shard and apply it to the item?

If you disjunct, I know the augment slot is retained, but do you lose any augments applied?

    You have to disjunct
    You keep the slot
I've disjuncted with a slotted augment in the new system and it didn't get destroyed. But I also remember the opposite happening, although I may be recalling from the old system. If it's a good augment, safer to pop it out obviously

There was a problem with Keen and some other weapon effects on items with red slots, and I don't know if they have it fixed or not, yet. If it's in a red slot on a weapon, take it out. I lost two rubies of ghostbane this way.
