    Default Making tumbling more actiony

    Something I've held for a long time for this game is that tumble/hop should activate when you're pressing a direction and then tap the shift key, instead of when you tap the shift key the character stops moving until you press a direction key again. I feel that it would improve the flow and movement of the game for those who actually use tumble a bit more.

    Yeah, that could work quite well.
    The trouble with tumble is that unless you have a large tumble skill it's quicker to just jump to the side. However, on my characters that have good tumble it comes in useful for dodging certain attacks and traps.

    I could see that being a thing if they didn't use the jump distance and speed as the base for tumble. Would actually help if tumble started there and then went bigger.

    For people who did have a lot of stuff in it though it would help a lot there to make things a little more action based, especially with things like traps where you have that burst of speed when you need it due to high ammounts of tumble.
