    Default Swashlock fighter feedback, please.

Had an idea for a build. Wanted to build some decent damage between Warlock aura, Consecration and Melee damage while having enough defense and self-healing to survive. The idea here is high fire spell power synergy.

I know I build funny. Not really looking for tips on what to do differently. Just wondering if it seems like this could do enough damage to hold up, generally, in legendary elite groups. I am a competent upper mid-tier player who usually pays attention and listens.

Bear in mind these comments are following a very quick glance over the build

The issue with fiend pact is that there are quite a lot of things in late game content highly resistant or completely immune to fire.

Given that you taking some levels in swashbuckler I would be inclined to say you should go fae pact (since you already want to be buffing sonic power for resonant arms).

You also seem to have avoided taking a lot of the common ES enhancements (Burst, Blast, Shining Through for instance), is there a reason for that?

Given that you've also taken Spiritual Retribution, you'll want to be buffing light spellpower as well.

So as a result, you'll be trying to max fire (for consecration and pact damage), force (main aura damage), light (Spiritual Retribution), Sonic (Resonant Arms) and probably positive (for self healing). That's a lot of spellpowers to be focusing on.

You could cut that down a fair bit by going fae pact, and picking up utterdark blast (thus removing the need to worry about force spellpower, and reducing your need to focus on fire).

As it happens, I play a swashbuckler lock that runs in DC at the moment.

If you'd like I could take a proper look at the build and put some tweaks together to try and get a bit more out of it, without changing the overall build too much.

EDIT: Also, Strike with No Thought (or at least the crit threat range part) won't stack with the crit threat range increase from swashbuckling.

    Kadrios, thanks for the feedback.

There's really no particularly reason I avoided taking common ES enhancements other than I'm really particular about how I like to play and build.

Sadly, I always forget to factor in enemy strengths and weaknesses when planning out builds, so I appreciate the reminder about resistances.

I don't typically do builds that involve spell power, so that was the primary reason for my lack of confidence in what I was doing and why I asked for the feedback. Essentially, you gave me exactly the information I was looking for here.

As far as I know, Strike With No Thought doesn't increase threat range, only multiplier. Swashbuckling with handaxes and light picks only increases their range. Seemed like good synergy to me.

Planning out builds is my favorite part of DDO, so while the offer is greatly appreciated, it would be a waste for both of us. Thank you, though.

I think your build should work just fine.
Personally I'd switch to human/str instead of dwarf/con; investing spare AP in Stalwart for +20% HP. You should end up with similar total HP, with higher attack bonus and heal amp.
    I'd probably 36 ES, 11 swash, 11 kensei, 13 stalwart, 3 human, 6 free.

You are indeed correct, I misread the effect when I was going through your enhancements.

One other thing I did come across while going through the enhancements is that Dwarven Fortress is a waste of points since it relies on you wearing full plate, which you obviously won't be doing for this build.

You might also want to consider Arcane Warrior rather that Harbinger of Chaos for your lvl 29 destiny feat.
