New Player in Search of Fellow Roleplayers

Hello there!

If you clicked on this thread, I presume that means you are a part of a Roleplay community, or you at least know where to point me.
To put it plainly, I'm a rather new player looking for fellow roleplayers to join up with. I don't have a preference as to the server this is in as I have yet to really settle down, though I will confess I dropped into Thelanis as I heard rumors that was one of the hotspots.

A bit of background, I've been roleplaying for around 10 years, but I've been drifting since my first community kicked the bucket, unable to really find something that interests me. I LOVE Forgotten Realms and D&D lore, but I had continually heard that the community itself is no more, which is why its taken me so long to pop in. I primarily prefer more laidback RP groups despite being a member of several very discerning RP's in the past, likely due to the fact I simply don't have as much time as I used to, and I'd rather spend that time enjoying RP rather than arguing about what is what. That said I tend to prefer rolling Humans for the sheer simplicity and versatility they provide in RP (You can bet your butt I'm going to have at least one Dwarf though.)
I'm primarily available during CST/EST timezone afternoons (Except on Wednesdays and Saturdays), and as I stated above, I'm not terribly picky in what kind of RP I partake in as long as it has an enjoyable story and group of players.
