    Default Deep Gnome Bugs

    I wanted to post a few bugs I've been noticing since reincarnating to Deep Gnome on my Mechanic Rogue

    1) Insightful Spell Resistance doesn't seem to work
    2) Quality Spell Resistance doesn't seem to work
    3) Possibly the most annoying one of them all, is that the height of where bolts are fired is above my head which negates the entire reason I switched to a short race in the first place. Shooting over the heads of things like kobolds made visual sense as a human, but now I'm not only shooting over my head, but the visuals of my character keep making me think my shots will take a different path.

    I'm submitting an official bug report now, but figured a thread might help if people have found solutions, heard of fixes coming in future patches that I'm unaware of, or to add more bugs of their own to the list.

    Very few spell resistance effects stack with racial SR, (GMoF does I think). Devs said somewhere recently that they're looking at effect stacking with racial SR (drow and DG).

    I've bugged reported the bolts/shurikens originating above head height a couple of times now. I' wouldn't hold your breath while (if) they'll fix it so I'm TR'ing out of DG as soon as I've earned my heart seeds.

    Interesting, can you screenshot so we see about what level of height you're shooting at? Are you shooting at the height of a human or possibly taller or... ?

    When gnomes came out on Lammania they were reverted back to human height after TR:


    Basically they were based on human models like PDK on Horc. A few things slipped in and it seems some of them still not fixed. I think they fixed the (basic) gnome shooting bug awhile ago.
    You nerfed my monks, throwers, dailies and alchemists.
    I hardly play anymore, found a better hobby.

    Yeah, during my regular Gnome life a couple of months ago, her repeaters and GXBs were firing at the proper height for a smaller character. I guess Deep Gnomes haven't gotten the fix yet. Shame.
