Any tips?

Baad dragon.
We ran that on R8 yesterday and our tank got hit and killed by that too (took 7k damage despite having over 200 MRR and all saves nofail including rolling 1s).
I think only spell absorb will help you there.
Thelanis - Ethforged - Etherar - Fjirty --- Mitis Mors
Ghallanda - Ethrayne - Ethryne --- Omnipresence

Black Dragon Bolt has no save. I tend to think the 7k hit was a crit. I just wished I had recorded that to watch it again. When I equipped my spell abs, I was already with 2 dots. I was still ticking for 1k, 1.5k ... I guess I was lucky not to get critted again and die. What I didn't noticed is if I got the dot on me again or not, I should pay more attention next time to this. What I can tell is that when we completed my jeweled cloak was at 6 charges
so I was level 15
90 PRR/MRR + heavy shield
20% acid absorb
I guess Jeweled Cloak is the way to go, thanks for the tip.
The Hatchery
Run in a wide circle and use stanch and shining through whenever they are off timer while attacking from a distance.
For heroic and epic dealing with spells without saves comes down to spell absorption items...
For Example
- Jeweled Cloak (Can only have one)
- Mantle of the World Shaper
- Scarabs
- Pale Lavender Ioun Stone Unsurpressed
For Acid only such as the Breath attack...
Epic level characters can twist in Energy Sheath Acid (Tier 1 Twist from Draconic) to 1/2 the damage.
There is also the Energy Resist symbol and Reactive abilities in the Magister Epic Destiny that can stack additional resistance
There are is also a Shield Feat that ups your protection from Elemental attacks think it is Shield Deflection.
Of course any Acid Absorption, Protection and Resistance you can get will also be helpful.
Aaaand I'm back in the Rook's Gambit.
8 charges of Jeweled Cloak go down fast.
I ddoored out for shrine, got him to ~10%
but was too lazy/reckless to ddoor/shrine again.
So I died.
I guess I'll try a lower difficulty setting.
Can share how i soloed it on r3 this life.
The higher skull you pick the easier the fight is in later stages.
He doesnt use his dot attack til id say under 70% hp.
He starts spaming his harder hitting spells once he spawns archers.
Once he does that, just go and charm them.
High chance they will pull aggro but you can bluff and use other stuff on him /actually works in reaper when you want to dump aggro on charms.
8 archers on r3 killed him fast enough, i was just running around keeping charms up with pdk clickie and consumes mov speed buff.
Didnt use ioun stone or any specific absorb gear/items, had no need.
ITs actually a trivial fight this way imo.
Was heroic btw, on epic i would use same strat but with wings you have more kiting potential
/and thats why i hate warlocks, they trivilize so many things in this game
It's actually the breath that you need be aware of. That's when the dragon casts the dot. So only have to put spell absorption when he does the breath. Yes, spell absorption works.
Altho, if you tank him and place yourself under his neck like in the photo, you are safe. Actually he wont even cast breath. He will push you from time to time, all you gotta do is get back under his neck right after.
