    Default new races?? Yes,please..

Really enjoy the variety of new content lately. The new races and classes such as dragonborn and warlock. Keep it coming! Still patiently waiting for aasimar and teifling to come out. Undoubtedly this will be delayed due to all the work being done on Ravenloft. I can't wait to see what the end of the year brings. So far my interest is still piqued... New monsters would be a welcome change also. New content keeps the game fresh and exciting more like pen and paper.

I think a new race should have heal as a sla in tier 2. You know to offset every melee as a blade.

that would be awesome. I think we have only scratched the surface as far as playable races. Shifters would be nice in a way aasimar would make an excellent cleric with their celestial ancestry. Of course some would argue that we already have druids would can shape shift. And that the aasimar would be too much like the iconic sun elf.

I was looking at playable races and found the genasi have a lot to offer. I think it would be very versatile and able to play any class.

Default or the actual balance issue could be fixed there instead of adding power creep...

Or, y'know, bladeforged's reconstruct SLA could receive a significant increase to its cooldown and spell point cost, so that it's not so glaringly unbalanced that we see "every melee as a blade". When every X is a Y, this is a signal that there's an obvious balance problem. It's like the canary in a coal mine of MMO game balance problems.

And avoiding upsetting people who are emotionally attached to their very clearly over-powered garbage isn't a (legitimate) reason to not nerf something appropriately like it should be. [Before someone points it out, yes, I know it's not as overpowered in Reaper above a certain skull level due to the self-healing penalty. But it's still unbalanced and reflects poorly on the otherwise well-balanced racial enhancement revamp.]

Giving some new race a Heal SLA would improve the situation to being 'every melee is a bladeforged or a _____' instead of 'every melee is a bladeforged'. Not much an improvement from a design perspective, really.

Default The 5th edition has tabaxi...

    Topic: Tabaxi - Race
Ability Score Increase: Dex increases by 2, Cha increases by 1
    Age: equivalent to humans
Alignment: tend toward chaotic alignments. Very rarely are evil
    Size: taller than humans, slender
    Speed: walking speed is 30
    Darkvision: 60'
Feline Agility: your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns.
Cat's Claws: Because of your claws, you have a climbing speed of 20 feet. In addition, your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Cat's Talent: You have proficiency in the Perception and Stealth skills.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
    From volo's guide.

I'm hoping aasimar/tiefling will be next (will fill in the second +1 WIS/+1 STR missing from the racial TRs that the other four ability scores have) along side the divine/cleric/FvS pass - all in preparation for ravenloft
(Combat): You are hit by your knockdown.

I agree the next two races to be introduced hopefully i will be aasimar / tiefling, mostly because the tiefling also is one of the basic Races of 3.5 in theory on the player's manual.

Then I would put after these Genasi, each of them at different points as the unique racial Gensai earth +2 Strength, -2 Dexterity while the air to +2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution to give you an example ... I think They offer various Builds to make for my, and perhaps find everything and the perfect way to add "Sub-Races" to the game

Not that I have a problem with it, but the devs are looking for more benevolent races like aasimar and tabaxi even..

Kobold with an Iconic Kobold Favored Soul to match the trainer in the Marketplace. Give it a good enough racial tree and you could put off the FvS pass for a bit and also get all the "never Kobold, not, nix, nay" folks to buy it and play as the devils they deny.

I'm gonna vote for Thri-Kreen or Mul

Mainly because i'd love to see them do Dark Sun after Ravenloft.

the Dark Sun books were some of my favorites... and having casters running around trying to find plants to drain their spell points from would be interesting.

I think I read in some post about future plans that before introducing new races want to do the same races but separated by worlds, ie Dwarves of Eberron and Dwarves of Forgotten Realms, elves of eberron and elves of Forgotten Realms, I think the thing will be more aesthetic rthan a race itself.

My vote would be for Kenku, they would make excellent rogues or monks with slightly lower strength, higher dex, fast moving, and just think of the colour schemes that could be applied to them!
TYRS PALADIUM.....Officer. If you think there must be more to the game than pugging, come on and joinTYRS! Willibold Fighter/Wilibold monk /Tooflower monkftr/rogue /Hesteban fvs /Machiavehli druid/ Commabayou bard /Greenbolts ranger/Dramoh arti /Dragbat bard /Covemonster Paladin/A Pherzackerly wizard/Asimovsbayne barb/Pardoner/Cottelettedporc cleric/ftr /

    Default KOBOLDS! Yes, please!

I'm going to raise a second vote for Kobolds... but if they're going to be Iconic, I really think that their favoured class (or whatever it's called) should be Sorceror.

Personally, I loves me some Kobolds - my current PnP character is a Kobold Wizard in 5e! There's nothing more hilarious than a teeny dragon wannabe, lusting after a treasure pile, while being chased around a Wall 'o Fire by the big bad guarding said treasure pile, screaming "Yeek! No hit kobold!"

I would totally buy Kobolds on day 1 without even waiting for a sale!

    +1 on Kobolds.

I think there could be a considerable interest in taking on a voluntary challenge with a race that is "sub-standard", clearly and intentionally NOT (fully) balanced compared to the current selection. A point of pride, if you will, to be able to make it work. Call it a flavor race.

And, yes, the comedy factor is just too good to pass up. That too.
