Death my loose strings...

The other day Reaper Tempest was going so well,

I entered alone to clear some trash. Then went up the mountain.


Eventually a warlock joined, so we were able to advanced deeper as a duo. And with only 2 deaths.


In time, more and more players came...

I was feeling empowered, almost invincible within my 200+ kills.

And then it happening...


the kite was thrown and the Ranger took off running, at speeds nobody could reach.

Badly hurt, the Ranger was clearly in need so off they went. they being my heals.

As the Ranger moved at over 35% normal walking speed, he kited his aider...


After over an hour of battle my fight was over, down and bleeding I watched the string.

The string that had gone too far, too fast, for the kite to keep up. But, it was not over there was another.

A Druid, a druid who could cast Vigor upon me. The Druid left his home and enter our dungeon.


One by one he saved our lives, one by one he healed us. In the end I was alive again and the giant defeated.

All thanks to a raving lunatic of a druid who just happened to be listening near by.

So I was about to write something like: "The other day I joined a TS and was saving the raid kiting around when this gimp fighter bla bla bla....".

Then I was like.... nuh.... that's a bit lame....

I for one am getting tired, and grumpy, and just a little gasy....


I was living in the past reminiscing about past Raids. The Reaper Caught in the Web lead by Earthmaster comes to mind, and the LE Shroud lead by John back in the summer of 2016 was another one, Both Raids had dozens of deaths, but in time we got our sh@t together and finished.

I've also done R4+ Tempests Spine twice with John and some Hella group, but I was just the guy pulling the lever...

I think I am going to retire as the tall guy who pulls his lever.
