In neverwinter There are advantages and disadvantages, like the feet of dragonborn in Neverwinter are equal to the original manuals Art Work, not like those of the DDO version mistook the dragonborn must not be so high the heel of the foot. Now I seem clear to me that here on fuorum we all agree that the dragonborn model can be improved, and I do not say that a complete disaster, indeed I must admit that the developers have proven to know how to do things well now that we are under SSG .

(A dis point of the discussion there is one thing that I'm asking since the beta and output of 35 ... and can therefore revamp a graph of the "classics" of other races? Except the gnome and the deep gnome).

I'm with you on this, but more than books I refer to existing species in play and are 5 but influences that can have the dragonborn are 4. I know it can be difficult to find a solution to enter the 5th ancestry with green darghi, but there would still be in the lore? the Dragonborn of Ebberon?
As far as I under stand it we have only seen references to other dragons not the whole set the only real deep references in Ebberon that I can recall are from that Giant hold and Reavers refuge. Giant hold talks about the great Dragon/Giant war that happened thousands of years ago. Reavers refuge talks about how the Truthful one resurrects an old storm reaver that we killed in Heroic Tempest spine(epic TS is a different giant IMO). we also see references to three of the continent dragons (Sibery's, Kyber, and Ebberon) Lore on those state that they all got into a fight and ended up destroying each other and Sarlona (another continent dragon) stayed out of it If I recall correctly.

Any way the lore in DDO is DEEP and follows most of the old reading lore from the hand books and modules. so its hard to say either way if the old dragons (the 3 content dragons) and what their type was (they obliterated each others souls into shards and we are talking dragons that with 1 breath could destroy a planet) not to mention the 6 dragons that we get the soul gems for to enter Stealer of souls

So then we analyze the 4 ancestries are these here ...

and obvious at first glance it seems that they wanted to make 4 to bring some also 4 types of elemental resistances and Damange are:

    • Water - White Dragon

    • Wind - Blue Dragon

    • Fire - Red Dragon

    • Earth - Black Dragon

4 types of elemental risistance and damage... are also those used by the same dragons in the game ... Then we go logically, (if I remember me of what I read in DDO Wiky) in the game should have a green dragon poison Resistance end damage

of races then with basic poison resistance we Dwarves, Drow and Warforgerd, the basic Dragonborn addition to the 4 elements that I mentioned above lacks the resistance / damage to the poison imho

The giant in Tempest spine is not the Stormreaver. It is Sorjek. We kill him in Heroic Tempest Spine, and he becomes a lich. We stop him again in Stealer of Souls, but don't destroy him. Legendary Tempest Spine is the same as Heroic, you can claim it's the later lich Sorjek if you want, but it's still Sorjek. That's actually a plot thread that's been dangling a long while, we have a lich who is still running around and ****ed off.

I don't think we've had any reference to metallic dragons in game that I can recall. There may have been, and I'm just not remembering it. But we certainly haven't gotten to kill any metallics.

I just like that the Dragon Breath can be given the ability to knock people down!

    FUS RO DAH!

Kinda wished they could wear helmets, though.

either way the ending of Stealer of souls (the last few DM audio) references the truthful one I remember that. but the we don't even know what type of dragon the ones in Chronoscope is either we just see them flying in the sky. but the dragon gems for SOS flagging could have been metallic dragons but IDK to be honest. That aside we have seen some references with 1 of the dragons in DDO using other spells that aren't elemental (the mom dragon in mired in kobalds) I think she was a metallic but and this is a stretch under her examination it says she is a green dragon but not if she is a metallic or not.

Both dragons in Mired in Kobolds are black dragons.
Lore wise, metallic dragons are good aligned and we would have little reason to fight them (although Running with the Devils allows us to fight good aligned creatures).
I this they omitted the green dragonborn since the other four colors have an element that gets boosted, but poison has nothing to boost.

    Default missing the color ancestry

Has anyone else noticed that almost all the classes have red drangon ancestry only? the only class I could find with a different color was artificer which is blue. unless I'm missing something.

Warlock has 2 Black and Red but nothing for Fey or force. but other than that I don't think they were ment for other classes other than sorc from the look of it but they can be used as elemental casters or argro tanks
