    Default Trouble with billing. And more trouble with billing.

    I currently have two accounts that I use for DDO. One of those accounts has been FTP for awhile. In February, I purchased a month on it- I wanted the cat. I was able to wiggle a little extra from the budget a couple of weeks later, but then when I tried to renew with a three month subscription, it wouldn't let me. I then tried to cancel my subscription (before that month expires) on March 2nd on the Turbine account page, thinking that then I could initiate a new subscription on the 3 month plan. Nope. Trouble ticket submitted 03-02-17. I have yet to hear back from Standing Stone Games on that one, it's been almost a week. Turbine page still says, "Cancellation Pending."
    Looks like I won't be renewing that account, though, and here's why:
    I renewed my other account for a six-month subscription on March 1st. DDO store History says, "Subscription Create" even though I've been back on VIP since last year. Turbine account page shows next renewal is supposed to be September. New company, I get it, whatever. Except that now my bank account was just hit for another 6 month subscription charge for that same account on March 6th.
    I am rather irate, very frustrated, and looking at an overdraft charge on my bank- I didn't budget this, and I'm not flush with cash.
    Thanks for screwing my budget up, Standing Stones. Thanks for making the help process unwieldy and slow. Thanks for making it impossible to talk to a real person when there is a real issue that needs immediate attention. I am not impressed.

    I have received a response with greater alacrity than I had expected regarding the double-billing. Thank you, Eardel in customer service, for the email response.
