Default Dragonborn Thumbs Up, but make them more colorful pretty please :D

I like them. Their trees are fun. They are fun.

    Thumbs up Dev team!

But.. they do make lousy monks :P

I look forward to running some lives as one!

Can you make their color palette more colorful and varied, so electric gets more tones of blue.. possibly cyan, to marine, to dark blue. Also add a second palette and get a bit creative with scale patterns so we can choose and match up two different colors for our dragonborn. Maybe a black acid spitting dragonborn might choose a green or dark yellow stripe running down his head and back. Maybe one has tiger like stripes or is spotted. Get a bit creative, but if we can blend two colors into their scales (humans get hair and skin...) they will be way way more fun to make and play.

Super awesome! Pretty please add more varied color from the 4 choices when going to color palette for the scales. Just saying my first impression immediately within hesitation. They need more color :P

I agree - would like to see more color variation on their scales/skin.

On the lammania forum, LeoLionxxx from the PC said that the scale color for dragonborn was brought up, but they were told that it was due to lore.

but yes, I agree that it would be nice to see a more fuller chromatic spectrum for dragonborn. and personally, I would like to see the choice of the chromatic ancestral heritage reflected in the shading of the available scale coloring (bluish tone for blue ancestry, reddish for red dragon ancestry, white/grey for white dragon ancestry and black for black dragons).... would also like to see chromatic ancestry's made available in the future.

do not let us start a movement for scale dye. there is already that movement for bear dye. c'mon!!!!

I like that armour doesn't cover the Dragonborn feet nor hands, meaning we get to see the awesome claws! The face is quite good as well - I had a moment after selecting my eyes (gold and #15) where I just had to sit back admire it, after which I also saw the hint of teeth in the jaw.

Lore shmore. This dragonborn all being clonelike is obviously a ploy to sell hair dye.

    lol

The model looks great, but I'll be damned if I could tell the difference between 30 dragonborn standing in front of the fatespinner.

As to the colors.. my god they are so freaking boring and so lacking of any individuality... as noted, can't tell one from the next. Id rather play a human I can make stick out and look more unique then a dragonborn that looks like all the others. They should have a range from bright flamboyant colors to drap natural colors, just like lizards do! And patterns.. like lizards do! Let us choose the colors of the patterns apart from the rest of the body... so we can use color coding to make it way way easier to tell who is who from who.

While you are making Dragonborn more colorful (yes please), maybe you could do a pass on Wolf- and Bear-forms? I was seriously disappointed that my animal forms didn't have the option to have my hair color.

They deserve Blue and Green hues in their skin color. The light grey in the top left corner covers White enough, the bottom left dark grey/yellow kind of covers Black enough (would be nice if it could go a little darker), and the various reds cover Red kind of enough (would like to see it go a little "true" redder more.) With the varying hues of other Races that are already in the game, it shouldn't be too hard.

Bright hues, I'm against. But darker colors that include Blues and Greens, I'm absolutely for. This is something SSG should genuinely fight WotC for.

Not going to say I disagree here, but dragonborn have the colours they have based on the lore in the D&D source material, and this has been dictated by Wizards of the coast.

SSG is not free to do what they or we want here.

I'm not sure why this would matter for Player Characters. The lore doesn't say that humans have pink hair but people change their looks no matter what their society. Some RL humans painted their skin blue or have tattoos. Can't some reptile-people do the same if they choose?

I think they should be more thicker and bigger guys like half-orc. They look so thin to be called as Dragonborn... It's like a lizard-human I think.

They look like Trandoshans - yes humans can dye their hair but how does one change your skin color? Doesn't make sense. If SSG has to follow the lore then so be it. If you want to pick the color of your dino character then play warhammer and paint your lizardmen whatever color you want.

To be fair, we eat hair dye in this game to benefit from it's effects. So popping some scale color pills doesn't seem out of the question.

If you don't want to change the color of your character, don't. I don't know why you care if other people do - especially to the extent that you have to tell them to leave the game.

Oh, and humans die their hair by steeping it in dye for a fairly long time. I expect if you steep scales in dye for a fairly long time they will also take the color.

Anyone that says - it's a lore thing - is using a copout excuse.
There is so much in DDO that deviated so far from lore - evil classes put with out evil alignment as an option, champions, any stat boost over +6 should be epic, champions, FoM not being useful vs. many webs/drow poison-paralysis, codex of infinite planes is an intelligent book, red named trash, etc...
Just say you're not allowed to, licensing, etc...
