DDO installer doesn't allow selection of install folder

Greetings,

Just rebuilt my machine, and in the process, I've switched from Win7 to WinX, which necessitated a reinstall of DDO. The game is physically located on a different drive than the boot drive, but won't run under WinX because it's missing some files. However, when I attempt to 'reinstall' the game to the existing games drive, the installer is forcing the install to the C drive, with no option to install it elsewhere.

I noticed the installer is now branded for Standing Stone, rather than Turbine. Did you break something when you were changing the name over the door perhaps?

Edit: Forget it. Just dumped the old install and will waste time reinstalling.

That helped me when I was having permissions issues with the DDO install on a fresh Win 10. A few months later, I was able to install DDO the old way again. Go figure.

Downloading now. Apparently the transition from 7 to 10 doesn't go as smoothly as MS would like us to think.

Windows 10 is rather twitchy about game files located in the Program Files folders, when you install games I highly recommend the following path (assuming C:\ is your system drive):

C:\Games\[game name here]\
