Default Looking for a viable 2017 build.

Hello, as a new player, im not sure to build everything by my self and i want to ask you guys for a a build

I saw a lot of build but no one who's not the past year or with premium or tons of tomes, I want a basic Human warrior viable ^^

I want to play a Sword and shield fighter Or Paladin... dunno what is the funniest, who can be tanky enough and deal damage enough too for being able to solo many things.

    Thanks you for your help

for a new player i would 100% recommend paladin over fighter. fighter is a more difficult class to play requiring more knowledge and equipment to be effective, and sword and board builds just dont really work for fighter currently imo.

there are definitely at least a couple build threads designed specifically for new players in the paladin sub forums. you should go there to look for them.
You are but a lamb, ignorant of your own ignorance. You no longer interest me.

Properly built & geared, a fighter will out-DPS a paladin; however I agree with dwarfforged that paladin is the more forgiving class, particularly for newer or undergeared players, thanks to high saves and self-healing (outside of Reaper anyway).

There are several S&B paladin threads; you can start with my Sacred Vanguards and branch out from there.
