Fast Wiz life

Good day,

Looking for some advice on the best build for fast wiz lives.
I'm aware I might have to solo a bit as the servers can be dead at low levels.
Would a warlock/wizard work, was thinking a 9/11 split?? What race, gnome, drow, WF?

Anyone have any build ideas tucked away.

A very comfortable, not-hard past life is something like Rogue6/Arty6/X8 split.

Not just Wizard, will work for any past life.

Reason:
- repeater, with rog/arty class split, is very good "lowbie" DPS. In general you can kill stuff before it gets close.
- you can do traps, so up to +30% XP bonus
- if WF you can self repair
- arty pet can pull levers
- if going for multiple lifes, you can keep the same gear since you have always the same build

Rogue 6/Ranger 6 also works and you can just TWF anything that gets close, but basically if you just want to do heroic, you can do Warlock 5/x with almost any class. I think with Wizard maybe the enhancements would be different, but overall, Warlock is powerful enough to carry you to 20.

Kri, so you reckon on 5 lvls of Warlock needed (5/15 split).

If you want to use warlock, use as many warlock levels as possible.
Probably something like Warlock 9 / Wizard 10 / Dip 1, with dip being possible rogue/artificer for traps or barb for speed, or something else.
I did one such life with one level of Artificer. As an added benefit you can use repeaters early for strong DPS since level 1. I've used repeaters (without any feats, just 3 AP in harper) combined with ES aura, temp HP, 3d6 light damage per bolt, and full meta Eldritch Blast until level 12.

I've also played a simple wizard 20 undead archmage evoker and that works just fine as well.

Remember the 10 wiz / 10 warlock split gives u wizard pl(in case u want it)

U could aso go vampire or wraith twf or thf, nowadays to get fast lives mostly depends on your playstyle
