Is that one large monitor or multiple monitor's? If multiple how do you span DDO across all monitors?

3x24" monitors 5760x1080 resolution running off an ATI HD 6770 (which is nothing spectacular.. 5 year old card.. but works great for DDO).
This resolution is supported in DDO so there is no complicated setup, just select and go.
I love the view and resolution, lots of room for the map, chats, hotbars and still see whats going on.

To be fair, 1) Cordovan isn't a software dev, he's customer service and does exactly zero coding; and 2) what any of the devs may or may not use at work, has no bearing on what they may have access to at *home*. It's possible to have a sweet, sweet setup at work... and still be envious because at home you're stuck with a 7-year-old system because you can't really justify paying to upgrade it when you have kids and a mortgage and it still works just fine, or simply because the SO will get grumpy if you take up that much of the dining room with multiple monitors *g*

Not an expensive venture nowadays, and it is great when multi tasking.

I have the same setup at work after using at home for a few years..
I made a good case for it, saves flipping tabs when comparing data between different applications or working multiple applications at the same time.
It does require some desktop real estate, but ultimately well worth the investment.

did end up costing me twice as much at home though.. after my son wanted to replicate my setup..

Multiple, and your OS has options that support it with certain monitors. It looks weird unless the monitors are all the same size.

IIRC Samsung (I think it was them) came out with a concept monitor that is basically one single curved monitor that looks pretty much like that. I don't think it's worth the insane price tag when you can do the same thing with 3 monitors for WAY less $$$.

True, but I'd hunt for a monitor that had the smallest bezel possible in addition to being otherwise a good monitor. The eye does tend to ignore the bezel after a while, but if it's really large it doesn't mentally vanish as well.

oh my dog 3x24"... isn't that overkill for your eyes in ddo? xD

cause that's some dilemma... or stay closer so you can read the tiny chat size or... hear your eyes roasting due to proximity to such screen size

i like the 3 different uses for each monitor but looks like too empty even the main screen for me, looks like minimalism lol

has been a while since i haven't played in laptops, maybe the day i stop moving i could get some proper setup lol
